As you can see from the photo, the first day of the European Healthcare Design 2025 Congress, Exhibition and Awards has got off to a wonderful start!
We’ve already had lots of interest in our healthcare storage portfolio, particularly our unique tray-and-liner system, and the indispensable mobile storage cabinet.
Together, we can reduce waste, streamline processes, improve safety, and free-up time to care. What’s more, our stylish, colourful products enhance both the workplace and the healing environment.

International Nurses’ Week 2025 recognises the skill, dedication and impact of nurses working in hospitals, the community, prisons, clinics and many other healthcare environments throughout the world.
It culminates in a special day of celebration on Monday 12th May, Florence Nightingale’s birthday.
At Medstor, we would like to thank the entire nursing profession for everything its members do to keep us happy and healthy, often working in very challenging circumstances.
We help by providing materials management solutions designed to make their lives easier by streamlining storage and releasing time for them to focus on their key priority – patient care.
We celebrate nurses not just this week but every day of the year – thank you from everyone at Medstor.

It’s amazing what a difference the bin stations have made to the way we all dispose of waste. Gary has done a great job with introducing the Simpler Recycling initiative within the Stamford Products Ltd companies, and we’re sure it will continue to go from strength to strength.

All dirty hospital linen must be handled with care and attention paid to the potential spread of infection – used bedding, curtains, hoist slings, gowns, etc, need to be taken from the ward to the laundry or collection point as quickly as possible, without disrupting patient care.
Medstor linen bag holders are the perfect solution to the management of soiled linens. These mobile bag carts are designed specifically for the separation and transportation of dirty laundry. Their use minimises the risk of cross contamination and supports robust infection prevention procedures.
Linen collection bags fit easily into the frame of the cart and are held firmly in place by a secure seal. The lightweight frame, which is constructed from fully welded steel, is simple to manoeuvre and has four strong swivel-and-brake castors.
Available in two size options (single bag or double bag, as shown below), the linen bag holders are available with different colour soft-closing lids, enabling colour coding for improved hygiene and easy sorting – choose from white, blue, brown, yellow, red and green.

Medstor materials management solutions are designed to make life simpler for busy hospital staff. Our procedure trolleys are a perfect example of this.
Available in low level, standard and tall options, with or without handles, and in a variety of other styles and configurations, these useful trolleys can be used right across the hospital for transporting drugs, dressings and other consumables.
They can also be fitted with our tray-and-liner system, which separates contents for quick and easy identification. In addition, sharps bins and other accessories can be attached, allowing the trolleys to be customised for use in specific healthcare areas.
Lightweight and manoeuvrable, Medstor procedure trolleys are a perfect way to streamline storage and can be put to service quickly and with minimal fuss, releasing time for patient care as soon as they’re in use on the ward or other area.
Our specialist installation teams work up and down the UK, delivering transformative healthcare materials management solutions that make it easy to sort, store and streamline, ultimately releasing time for patient care.
From shelving in Greater Glasgow and Clyde to catheter storage in Dublin, mobile and fixed cabinets for the South Western Ambulance Service Foundation Trust to high density storage for London’s largest critical care facility during the COVID crisis, we’re there when hospitals and clinics need us.

At Medstor, we often talk about our market-leading range of HTM 71 healthcare furniture. But what does HTM 71 actually mean?
