🌟 Support Jade as She Runs the London Marathon 2026! 🌟

We’re excited to share that Jade our Head of Activities, will be taking on the London Marathon in 2026 to raise money for Leukaemia Care a charity providing vital support to individuals and families affected by blood cancer.

We’ll be in the Bistro at 11am for a lovely Coffee Morning.
Everyone is welcome, we’d love to see you there!

Remembrance Day Service- “We will remember them”❤️
Yesterday we gathered for a beautiful Remembrance Day service led by Vicar Ben. It was a truly special morning of reflection, honouring and remembering all those who bravely served and gave their lives in the war.

🔥 Bonfire Night Fun! 🔥

We had such a wonderful afternoon celebrating Bonfire Night together!
Residents gathered around our cozy (indoor!) bonfire to sing classic campfire songs, sip delicious hot chocolate, mulled apple cider and enjoy tasty s’mores 🍫✨

🎃 Halloween Party at Grand View! 👻

Our residents had a fantastic time celebrating Halloween with tasty treats made by our amazing chefs, fun games like apple bobbing and mummy wrapping and a brilliant costume competition! 🧡

🇩🇪 Armchair Travel: Germany & Oktoberfest! 🍺🎶

Today our residents took a virtual trip to Germany as part of our Armchair Travel adventure! ✈️🇩🇪 We explored the sights, landmarks, and traditions of Oktoberfest — learning about the famous Bavarian festival, traditional dress, and delicious foods like pretzels and bratwurst! 🥨🍗🎺

Everyone enjoyed learning a few fun German phrases, Prost! (That’s “Cheers!” in German!) 🍻

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Breast Cancer Awareness Coffee Morning! Thanks to your amazing support and generosity, we raised £145 for this important cause. Every pound helps make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.

A special shout-out to our wonderful kitchen team for the beautiful cakes they made they were enjoyed by all! 🍰💞

We’re so grateful to everyone who came along, donated, and shared in such a lovely morning. Together, we’re spreading hope and awareness. 💗

Last week we took a trip to Peterborough Cathedral, and what a brilliant day it was! 💛
Our residents loved reading up on the cathedral’s history – it’s such a beautiful and interesting place to explore. ✨
We finished the trip with a relaxing stop at Starbucks for some coffee and a good catch-up. ☕😊
Lovely weather, lovely company, and plenty of smiles all around! 💛
