Failed relationships

 

During our lifetime, we will experience many failed relationships. This can come in the form of falling out with our parents on a permanent basis, splitting up with sexual partners, and falling out with friends permanently. Most of these can be very traumatic for certain individuals to deal with, but as time goes by, these things seem to heal themselves, but the subconscious mind never forgets these difficult experiences. Most people will enter another relationship failing to deal with the trauma from a previous relationship and carrying the same habits and patterns into the next relationship, this can range from trust issues, compatibility and communication issues to name a few. Often, people will find themselves in multiple failed relationships because the trauma hasn’t been dealt with from previous relationships.

Hypnosis is an excellent rehabilitation tool to help overcome these difficult experiences. Don’t just exist in a relationship. Be happy in that relationship.

Rehabilitation homework

 

Most clients will reach out for help from others with niggling pains or emotional stress. Usually after the treatment session the practitioner will suggest some corrective exercises and stretches to help strengthen the areas of concerns or some further relaxation techniques to help combat your stress levels.
Turning up for treatment alone is not going to fix all your problems. You will need to take some responsibility outside the treatment room to help your healing journey. The practitioner is only there to facilitate your healing; the client must take responsibility for further healing outside of the treatment room by continuing with their homework.

Neck Pain

Most people will experience neck pain at some point in their lifetime. This can be caused by moving your head to quickly, poor posture, being under too much stress. Stretches and strengthening exercises can be done to subside the pain, but sometimes we need some manual therapy to help speed up the recovery.

I recently had a client with neck pain on one side. During the session, we worked on the tightness on the shoulders and more local work on the neck. Homework was set to complete 2 exercises for a period of time. The client has fully recovered with no neck pain.

Lower Back Pain

 
Most people will experience lower back at some point during their lifetime. Many things can cause back pain from poor posture, lack of exercise, arthritis, and disc problems. Recently, I had a client who was suffering from lower back pain. On assessment, I noticed the breathing pattern to one side and weak left psoas muscle. I treated the local area of the lumbar spine, but this issue also went up the neck area, the foot, and the hand. Don’t always assume the problem is always the lower back.

Everyone will experience trauma at some point, this can be in the form of a relationship breakdown, accidents, passing of a loved one, abuse and many other things. Most people will go through the process of doing nothing and hoping everything will just disappear. The more stress we hold on to, or the more trauma we suppress, the more our body works to overcompensate and protect us. Much of our stresses and emotional trauma is stored within our body and eventually this will cause us pain or some kind of discomfort and can lead to weight gain. Set yourself free and live your best life by reducing your stress and anxiety associated with the above problems.

Healing the body

We all go through pain during some point in our lifetime, here are some of things to consider in helping your recovery.

Stress can build so much in the body which can lead to pain, muscle tightness, changes in appetite and many more symptoms.

Poor nutrition choices, causes inflammation, weak immune system, fatigue etc.

Lack of exercise/movement leads to muscle wastage, weaker bone density, increase in weight etc.

Solutions, support your body with better nutrition which will provide you with more energy. Go out for a walk, meditate, or try some hypnotherapy to help reduce your stress load. Exercise 2 or 3 times a week to create that feel good factor. Supplements can help short term, but they are not a long-term solution.

Sometimes we need to focus on one thing to help recovery and not everything at once, play about with the above and see what works best for you.

3-year baby suffering with health problems, breathing, and skin problems, which resulted in seeing a paediatric specialist for nearly 3 years with still no further progress and parents getting a little concerned. I recommended reducing the chemicals in the house and changing the nappies, which the medical establishment dismissed. 8 weeks later, his 3 year old daughter's health has improved by 80%, Sometimes, we don’t need to spend much money to see improvement; we just need to change the lifestyle we are living.

Resistance to change

Life is life a roller coaster, we all have our ups and downs from year to year, but when we come across an illness or just something which knocks you off your feet like a bad back, you can either stick with the path that you are on or make the necessary adjustments to improve your situation. Most of the time, people will focus on short-term solutions, popping a pill or stretching out them tight muscles without addressing the root cause of the problem. Only YOU can make the decision to change the way you live your life. You can either stay in pain and constantly being ill, or you make the required changes to break this cycle of discomfort.
