During Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re highlighting the things that make us feel more like ourselves.

For Liz Clare, MBST Health UK’s MD, her safe haven is the stables. Caring for her horses and time outdoors exercising them or out on a ride, gives her the headspace to switch off and leave her phone in the tack room!

But when pain gets in the way, it can affect more than just your body. It can stop you from doing the things that help you feel well.

If back, knee, shoulder or joint pain is preventing you from getting outside and being active, it may be time to speak to an expert to find out what support is available.

MBST can be used alongside other practitioner-led therapies, such as physiotherapy and chiropractic care, to support rehabilitation programmes for people with musculoskeletal conditions, including joint pain and back problems.

Because getting back to what you love can be part of looking after your mind.

Individual results vary. MBST may not be suitable for everyone. Always seek professional medical advice for health concerns.

Today marks World Health Day, something that closely aligns with our vision at MBST.

As the World Health Organization launches its year-long campaign, this year’s theme, “Together for health. Stand with science”, resonates more than ever.

It highlights scientific progress and the collaboration required to turn evidence into real-world impact.

Progress in healthcare is built through partnerships.

That’s why our work with the University of East London’s Neighbourhood Health Hub matters.

By bringing together clinical expertise and research, we’re not only supporting patients with musculoskeletal conditions, we’re also helping generate the insights needed to shape the future of preventative healthcare.

It’s padel season 🎾

One of the fastest-growing sports right now, and one that comes with its fair share of ni**les.

Fast-paced rallies. Quick changes of direction and explosive movements.
It all adds up.

Elbow pain and sore joints. These ni**les are early warning signs.
Don’t ignore them.

Act early when pain starts, prioritise recovery, and speak to an expert if a ni**le persists, before it becomes a bigger issue.

And if you’re dealing with ongoing pain or repeat injuries, MBST could be an option to support your recovery as part of a clinician-led, integrated care plan.

It’s not a standalone fix, it works as part of a wider, practitioner-led approach alongside manual therapies such as physio, osteopathy and chiropractic care.
