This weekend we rolled out the red carpet… with a superhero twist 🦸‍♀️✨

Our very own Heroes Awards celebrated our incredible residents and their unique superpowers—from kindness and humour to strength and resilience (and a few secret talents we may still be uncovering 👀).

There were smiles, laughter, a few proud moments, and of course… some “superhero fuel” to keep everyone going 🍓🥗💪

It was such a special afternoon and a real reminder that you don’t need a cape to be a hero! 🦸‍♂️

Six Nations rugby made March something special 🏉

Every weekend we came together, shared snacks and a few beers, and cheered on our favourite teams. There was a bit of friendly rivalry between everyone, but mostly it was just great fun, laughter and some healthy banter!

📚✨ World Book Day Joy ✨📚

This March, we had the absolute pleasure of celebrating World Book Day with a very special visit from the Uffington Church of England Primary School The children spent time with our residents, reading stories together and sharing the magic of books—and what a truly heartwarming experience it was!

It was incredible to see how quickly the residents’ spirits lifted as soon as the children arrived. Laughter filled the room, stories came to life, and beautiful connections were made across generations. The joy on everyone’s faces said it all—moments like these are so special and truly unforgettable.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Ms. Victoria Ludford for organising such a wonderful visit, and to all the children who brought so much warmth, energy, and happiness with them.

We are already looking forward to welcoming them back again soon! 💛

Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful Mums we celebrated today 💐

Our residents enjoyed spending special time with their families and sharing a lovely afternoon tea together. It was a lovely afternoon filled with smiles, celebrating motherhood and the incredible women who mean so much to us.

We also enjoyed a beautiful Mother’s Day service from Fr. Aran this week! We always appreciate and love his visits 🤗
