An independent Health & Social Care Regulator, he works closely with the Millennium Care UK Group to ensure all homes are the best they can be 🌟

Naison will be at Langtree during the day on the 3rd February if you’d like to share feedback with him. Alternatively, we have Your Millennium Voice.

As our home grows, so must our activity provision! 🥳

We’re seeking an additional Activity Coordinator who will be supported by a strong and diverse team. You’ll work alongside a Music Ambassador, an Occupational Therapist, a Personal Trainer and an amazing staff team, giving you the tools to make a real difference 🏋🏽 🎵

Langtree isn't a traditional care setting, and that’s reflected in the activities we provide. We’re looking for a creative who has a drive to deliver meaningful engagement! 💚

So, whether it's reigniting old passions, keeping residents' fingers green, celebrating a brilliant occasion or getting stuck into a workout, there's something for everyone 🏠

The latest Millennium Carecast Podcast is live; it was only right that we recorded in Boston Active! 🎙️ 🏋🏽

It's been just over a month since we opened the home's state-of-the-art gym, and as our residents are getting comfortable, we're already seeing great progress 🤩

We didn't want to gatekeep, so the latest episode looks at how to keep people mobile and the importance of exercise as we age 💚

This afternoon, residents had another fabulous trip to Hallé St Peter's to watch The Hallé's Relaxed Orchestra! 🎵

These concerts are particularly suited to those living with dementia and other similar health conditions, creating an informal environment 💚

As always, the Orchestra didn't disappoint, and the trip is fast becoming one of the home's favourite outings! 🤩

Mary, said: "There’s no feeling like setting foot on the Hallé’s floor listening to the orchestra." 💃

We had a fabulous afternoon today when one of our resident’s family friend came along with his band to sing us a few songs 🎤

There was plenty of singing and dancing as we made the most of our huge first-floor lounge, it’s a great place for hosting parties we must say 💃

We ended the festivities by celebrating our second birthday this week, Happy birthday to our lovely Barbara! 🎂💚

As we near the end of our first six months at Langtree, we’re taking a look back at all the highlights 👀

There's been birthdays, anniversaries, parties, trips and plenty of laughter 😆

We couldn’t have done any of it without our hardworking staff, our characterful residents, and the wonderful families we’ve had the pleasure of getting to know 👏

This is only the beginning of life at Langtree, and we’re so excited for what’s to come 🤩

What a fun-filled day we had yesterday! 😅

We started the morning with some gentle armchair exercises with Maddie before getting creative with some Hama beads, focusing on careful hand movements and coordination 💪 🧑‍🎨

It was wonderful to see so many families making themselves at home with their loved ones, catching up and reminiscing over a good brew 🥰

To top the day off, we celebrated our lovely Brian’s birthday with a very tasty cake and a chorus of ‘Happy Birthday’ (video in comments) 🎂🥳

What a lovely day at Langtree today ✨💐

We spent some really special time together, sharing smiles, laughter and kindness 💞

This morning, Edna decided to give care practitioner Candice some extra love and attention, gently stroking her hair for a while – such a beautiful moment of connection 🥰💇‍♀️

This afternoon brought a fab game of bingo, which got slightly competitive. The big winner was Jan, who was absolutely thrilled with her Prosecco prize and kindly shared it with her friends – cheers all round! 🎉🧠😄🥂🍾

Days like this remind us how special it is to enjoy each other’s company 💖

🌍✈️ Today at Langtree it’s been all about memories & mindfulness ✈️🌍

After yesterday’s fabulous karaoke party, we decided to slow the pace and enjoy a lovely, chilled-out day together 🎤🎶

Today we’ve been travelling the world through conversation, as our wonderful residents shared:
🌴 Their travel history
🏖️ Favourite holiday destinations
🗺️ Best adventures they’ve ever had
🍽️ Favourite cuisines tasted abroad
🍹 Favourite holiday cocktails

All while enjoying a safari-themed landscape colouring activity, helping to support fine motor skills, creativity, and sparking those amazing holiday memories along the way 🦁🌅

So many smiles, stories, and laughter — a perfect reminder that sometimes the best journeys are the ones we revisit together 💛
