Residents have had fun playing with the children from our Cuddles and Connections mother and toddler group. Jean even had a go at hula hoops! 🥰

We certainly are good at keeping busy and having fun in the home!

We did all sorts, from games to baking and gardening, getting little seeds planted ready for the garden 😀

The event is kick-starting an initiative, Together at The Village, where we, along with our sister homes, Langtree and Lakeside Care Home, will be hosting a series of events to better integrate with the local community and, of course, residents and their loved ones! 👏

Residents enjoyed creating arts, doing crafts, and eating barbecue-style food for Australia Day 🇦🇺

As always, thanks to our great cooks for the lovely food!

While that was going on, Jean enjoyed a shopping trip with tea and cake, and our Mary taught her first Tai Chi lesson which was a huge hit 😍 🥋

Ray has been volunteering for 4 years now, visiting and entertaining our residents every Tuesday and Thursday 🥰

This year, he wanted to spend his birthday with us 🎂

He was showered with gifts and well-wishes 🎁

Ray stayed for tea so we could all celebrate together with cake and drinks 🥳🎂🍷
