Please note our Easter warehouse operational hours across our UK sites. We will be operating on a modified schedule from Thursday 2nd April through Bank Holiday Monday 6th April.

🚢 London Gateway: Closed from 10 PM on Thursday 2nd April.
🚛 Tamworth: Operational Thursday; closed from midday on Good Friday.
💊 Northampton (Pharmaceutical Division): Operational Thursday; closed Friday through Monday.

All sites will return to normal operating hours following the Bank Holiday.

Having previously worked as a delivery driver, Eddie is now trading the wheel for the operations side of the business. He is already diving deep into:

What You’ll Do:
• Handling European groupage import or export shipments
• Managing freight movements from origin through to final delivery
• Liaising with customers, overseas partners, and suppliers

• Accurately costing shipments, including taxable kilos
• Updating and maintaining shipment data within internal systems

What We’re Looking For:

The Ziegler Manchester branch, located in Warrington, is centrally positioned to service the industrial heartlands of Manchester and Liverpool as well as the wider North West of England. Our presence in the region began 16 years ago with the opening of the Air & Sea division in 2010, which has flourished through strategic sales and the acquisition of key accounts. In 2012, we expanded our reach by opening our Road freight division, creating a comprehensive logistical hub. After operating from the same dedicated facility for 15 years, our continued growth and increasing personnel led to a move in 2025 to a larger, more modern office to facilitate future expansion.

Our team possesses a wealth of industry knowledge, with the Air & Sea department alone boasting 8 staff members who share over 200 years of experience. We pride ourselves on being a versatile partner, managing everything from standard full load and groupage shipments to express charters, dangerous goods, and complex shipments requiring special customs procedures.

We have built strong relationships with major airlines and shipping lines to ensure competitive and reliable service for our clients across all import and export operations.
