Boom! Another win! 🙌🏼🎉💛💚

We earned three points today in another hard-fought game with our opposition . The game was delayed due to our opposition getting caught in a road closure, and the windy conditions didn’t help either team. It took a short while for our ladies to settle into the game, but when they did, they started playing nice combinations of football and creating chances. We drew first blood on 20 mins after a nice passage of play: Vicky brought the ball down to Bex, who played a ball over for Shellie to run on, get a ricochet off the keeper, and roll it into the net. During the rest of the first period Vicky done what she does best — put away three goals. Another hat-trick for our super striker. We went into HT 4-0 up.

The second period was a bit more challenging playing into the wind, and for spells, it was quite flat. The ladies continued battling away, preventing any clear-cut chances for the opposition, and trying to increase our lead but for some great stops by the keeper. A free-kick was conceded about 35 yards out from our goal; the strike squirmed in off the post. The game finished 4-1 in our favour, as we look to work hard in training and prepare for the next game 💛🖤

Well done to Broomfield today, despite the difficulty in getting to the match, battled all across the pitch and never made it easy 👏🏾

Opening the scoring in our 4-1 victory today was 7️⃣ an easy finish after a kind ricochet off the keeper, but a great run onto the through-ball to make it happen! Shellie now takes her tally to 11 goals in League & Cup competition this season.
