Can I ask my local friends on Facebook to please object and make a comment on Thurrock Councils planning reference number 25/01060/OUT.

Land opposite Gable Hall School
and behind the school

In total this will be over 700 houses and I think this could be phase 1 once the developers get their hands on our local
Farm land then another phase begins.
Think around 2000+ extra residents.

Think when the A13 is blocked they cut through our area causing chaos already! Extra residents more traffic. One entrance is on Southend Road opposite the school the other where the bridge is.

Think when the houses are built and the traffic along Southend Road brings extra capacity at school time.

Think the long wait times and a failing Basildon hospital we have now then the added pressure of extra residents.
Wait time for doctors appointments already.

Think the flooded areas we have encountered since they built the site in Fobbing. Already a high risk area we live in. Table levels are so high now in this area.

Think our green spaces and seeing more concrete. Protect our wildlife.

Think the inadequate car parking spaces we have now in the local
Town centre.

Think the pollution with the extra cars that the new builds will bring.

Think if they build a primary school where will those children go after with inadequate spaces in the Senior Schools.

Why we may need more housing they won’t be affordable for local
People .

They have proposed a shop, a care home and a primary school but that won’t come out of the Builders budget that will be down to the local council and it will never happen so more houses will be built.

Apparently they say it’s not green belt it’s grey belt a new thing from our Government.

Some weeks I will be adding a Friday to Footcare. Normally it’s a Tuesday and Thursday.

Most Footcare appointments are booked at least 2 appointments in advance. I will be in touch if this affects your appointment.
