September is Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month

Every year in the UK, over 22,000 women are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer — including ovarian, cervical, womb (uterine), va**nal and v***al cancers.

Early diagnosis can save lives, but symptoms are often missed, misunderstood or mistaken for something less serious — especially in the case of ovarian cancer, which has one of the lowest survival rates.

🧡 It’s time to change that. Know the symptoms. Trust your instincts.

🔍 Symptoms to watch for:

• Unusual va**nal bleeding or discharge (especially after menopause)

• Persistent bloating or feeling full quickly

• Nausea or changes in digestion

• A persistent itch, lump or skin changes on the v***a or va**na

• Ongoing lower back, abdominal or pelvic pain

These signs don’t always mean cancer — but if it’s not normal for you, get it checked.
