🌟 A little heads‑up from Team GG 🌟

It’s been a very busy start to 2026 here at the garage, and with school holidays and a few unexpected challenges behind the scenes, we’re running a bit short‑staffed this week.

Things may take slightly longer than usual, but please rest assured we’re working flat‑out to keep everyone moving. We’re a small team and we’re giving it everything we’ve got.

Ash is carrying a lot at the moment (and his blood pressure is trying to set a new personal best), so please be kind if he looks extra serious. It’s his birthday tomorrow too so if you see him, feel free to remind him he’s not getting any younger!

Had a message on Facebook the other day from someone who was in need of a tractor unit as 1 of their's is in the main dealer awaiting repairs. They've never used us before and didn't know we hired trucks out. Someone recommended us to him and he's gonna be picking up a DAF XF on Monday so that he's not losing any down time while having 1 off the road 👌

Massive thank you to everyone who donated, supported, cheered, and kept asking “have you been out running today?” 😂

We had so much support throughout January and loads of cash donations too, which have all been added to the total bringing it to an amazing £271 raised 🙌

This is a charity we hear a lot about, especially working in a very male dominated business, so it felt really good to do something positive for it. Every donation, message, and bit of encouragement genuinely helped on the cold, wet, can I be bothered days.

Just a little MOT reminder 😊

We really try our best to keep things running on time. MOTs are booked into fixed, paid DVSA slots, so timing really does matter for us.

The DVSA are very strict an MOT isn’t just a quick walk-round of your car. We have to follow detailed government guidelines, log everything digitally, and ensure your vehicle is genuinely safe to drive. Every MOT, time slot and vehicle is recorded.

We don’t want to turn anyone away at all, but we are extremely busy with MOTs booked back-to-back every 45 minutes throughout the day.

We completely understand that things happen — if you’re running late, just let us know as soon as you can so we can try to help where possible.
