Friday afternoon, we kept the Burns Night celebration going with a special visit from our furry friends! Residents came together for joyful cuddles and some unforgettable snake skin-curling moments.

Our dedicated staff got in on the fun too! Layla, one of our well-being team members, bravely faced her fears and held a snake for the very first time!

What a fantastic day filled with laughter and bravery! 🐍❤️

🎉🎂 Celebrating Helen's 102nd Birthday at Seacroft Green Care Home!🎂🎉

Join us in giving a huge round of applause to our wonderful resident, Helen, as she celebrated her remarkable 102nd birthday yesterday!

During our Burns celebration, Bagpiper Cameron filled the air with the joyful sounds of "Happy Birthday" on the pipes, and everyone joined in to sing along. Helen was truly showered with love, well wishes, and thoughtful gifts on her special day!

A massive congratulations to Helen! 🥰✨

🌟🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Burn’s Night Celebration at Seacroft Green Care Home🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🌟

What a fantastic morning we had at Seacroft Green Care Home as we celebrated Burn’s Night in true Scottish style! 🎶

Our talented bagpiper, Cameron, filled the air with the stirring sounds of the bagpipes, captivating everyone present. One of our residents was so moved by the performance that she expressed her gratitude by wanting to try and hold the pipes herself! What a heartwarming moment!

To complement the beautiful music, residents and staff indulged in delicious Scottish treats, including traditional tablet and shortbread, paired with a comforting cuppa. The festivities culminated in a delightful lunch featuring classic Haggis, neeps, and tatties.

A huge thank you to Cameron for sharing his talent with us, and to everyone who joined in the celebration! Here’s to keeping the spirit of Scotland alive at Seacroft Green! 🥳

🎄✨ A Magical Evening Seacroft Green Care Home✨🎄

T’was the night before Christmas Eve, and our care home was filled with warmth and joy as residents, their relatives, and our dedicated staff gathered for a delightful evening.

We indulged in delicious pies and warmed mulled wine during teatime, creating an atmosphere of festivity and togetherness. The highlight of the evening was the fantastic entertainment provided by the incredible Mark Memphis! 🎤✨

His captivating performance brought smiles, laughter, and a spirit of celebration that resonated throughout our home. It's moments like these that remind us of the joy of community and connection, especially during this magical season.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this unforgettable night! We look forward to more joyful gatherings this year.

⭐️🎨Arts and crafts Seacroft Green Care Home🎨⭐️

We had a glittery, sparkly, sticky gluey afternoon - the week before Christmas.
Residents got stuck in with crafting, weaving and perfecting their own bedroom door wreaths.

The looks of determination, pride in their very intricate masterpieces was enough, to fill the whole home with getting us all into the Christmas spirt. 😊
