Residents have really enjoyed taking part in our biscuit decorating, this may appear to be a gentle activity, but it has lots of benefits for residents.
Biscuit decorating can be very therapeutic, offering a mix of creative, cognitive, and social benefits.

By far the best bit is enjoying them with a nice cup of tea, enjoyed by all here at Seacroft Grange.

We celebrated Valentines Day with a Valentines Dance, Miss Marina came along to sing all our favourite Love Songs!

Residents sang along with family members and the lifestyle team danced and sang the afternoon away!
We stopped to catch our breath with a sweet treat to keep our energy up for the second half.
It was said by all how much they had enjoyed the afternoon and were looking forward to seeing Miss Marina again soon!

February here at Seacroft Grange has been a month of lots of different celebrations from different cultures. Chinese New Year was our next celebration!

Residents and families enjoyed learning all about Chinese New Year traditions, lots of interesting facts, and what 2026 had in store for us.
Residents enjoyed the Chinese Zodiac Calander finding out what animal was their birth sign. We chatted about the 2026 being the year of 'The Fire Horse' and what it meant for people born in 2026.

We enjoyed most tasting Prawn Crackers, along with Sweet Chilli, Sticky Plum, Teriyaki and Hoisin dips... by far the Sticky plum came out on top!

As Valentines Day is a celebration of Looovvvee, our residents enjoyed writing Valentines cards for their loved ones.
Sending a card reminds residents of their identity as a partner and helps to keep emotional bonds despite physical separation.
The recipients of the cards said how wonderful it was to receive their cards with one of saying that it brought them to tears (Happy Tears) and that they would cherish their card.

February has turned out to be a very busy month for residents here at Seacroft Grange.
Pancake day was our next reason to enjoy a lovely taster session.
Residents on all communities enjoyed Pancakes with the traditional Lemon juice and sugar, also of course with chocolate, strawberry syrup, maple or golden syrup with lots of fresh fruits and lashings of cream!
Whilst enjoying our pancakes we had wonderful conversations bringing back lovely memories over the years of flipping pancakes!
