We have recently had the absolute pleasure to parter up with The Salon Chapel Hill, Stansted, run by Steve Fisk. Steve has set up Roots2SuccessCIC, a non-profit Community Interest Company supporting young people in Uttlesford who are not in education or are on limited timetables ✨
The Salon provides hands-on, real-world learning experiences that help build confidence, skills, and routine, with the aim of supporting young people back into education or training.
These sessions have been delivered by Stacey Ross, a highly skilled and dedicated hairdresser who gives everything to help these teenagers progress. Through placements such as this, the girls gain real experience working with the public in a safe, supported environment.
Roots2SuccessCIC’s sole purpose is to support local young people, remove barriers to learning, and help them find a positive path forward.
We feel beyond privileged to have been offered this experience; the girls have been absolutely fantastic, and to watch their confidence blossom has been out of this world. We would like to say a massive thank you and well done to everyone enrolled on this course. You are all fabulous 💇🏼♀️ We cannot wait to watch you all excel in your future careers, and not to forget, how amazing Stacey has been 💜
