Easter Egg Hunt 🍫🥚

This free event is open to everyone in the community - Please book on to reserve a space! We will be holding an Easter Egg Hunt around the garden, alongside, many themed activities for all 🍫

We welcomed back Lifestyle Coordinator, Jessica May Singer recently, who went around the home singing and playing the guitar. Many residents and relatives were moved by Jess' singing, leaving a fair few of us in tears! 🥹 Jess, you have a beautiful voice, and so talented. We cannot wait to have you back with us real soon 🤍

We recently had a day of firsts for two lovely ladies - Sian and Enid. After sharing with the team their life-long wishes, we set off to Chapel Hill Studio - Tattoos and Body Piercing 🤭 As part of Care UK's wishing tree initiative - this is what we set out to do...

Enid had her ears pierced for the first time, something she had always wished to do, but never plucked up the courage. Enid explained "it has been something to tick off my bucket list. I have wanted my ears pierced for years, but never had the courage to follow it through. After speaking to Alex and Sharon, they gave me that last push to go do it, and now I am absolutely thrilled. I cannot wait to get some new earrings and show them off!" 🧏🏼‍♀️

Sian decided to get her very first tattoo - with her chosen design being a tiger to represent her strength and power, alongside a daffodil to show her Welsh roots 🐅🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Sian explained "Getting my first tattoo was so exciting, I didn't even flinch! I love my tattoo and the team at the Studio."

We would like to say a huge thank you to Mark and Sab from Chapel Hill Studio - Tattoos and Body Piercing, you were both so patient with us, and made the ladies feel at ease. This wish couldn't have been possible without you both, so we are eternally grateful. You are both stars 🌟

For the next week, we will be running an Easter raffle in our reception area. Tickets are £1 a strip, and wonderful hampers to be won 🐣🍫

The sweetest visit from the Brownies last night, where we made Easter crafts, received the most beautiful handmade cards and listened to the girls singing songs from their upcoming Annie performance 🎶

The words written in the cards had us teary-eyed, and the ladies were over the moon to receive them. A big thank you to all the Brownies, you are little treasures 🥰

Towards the end of the evening, Tricia made a speech to thank the girls and talk about happy memories from her younger years. We also sang a very Happy Birthday to Connie, who kindly handed her birthday cake around to us all 🎂

We finished the evening off by singing to the Brownies ourselves, with "Show Me the Way to Go Home" 🎵
