Are you finding this time of year hard perhaps harder than you would usually?

Maybe this year you have lost a loved one or have extra financial or family difficulties. It is important to look after yourself as things get busy and Christmas approaches.

The next couple of weeks aren't going to be normal for any of us and as much as we've almost got used to this new and ever changing world, change isn't always easy.

I know that times are hard for lots of people and I want to help in any way I can and on that note and to give you some time out in this busy period and as a thank you for being here, I've created an 18min audio relaxation that I've called Cave retreat.

Please don't listen whilst driving or operating machinery and only when you can relax completely and not be disturbed and most of all - enjoy!

Are you making time for you?

With the busiest and most stressful time of the year for many just around the corner, self care is more important than ever.

Self care comes in lots of different forms and is important at all times of the year.

Starting a new routine with self care that will see you through to new year will help your physical and mental health and is clinically proven to reduce stress, depression and anxiety, minimise frustration and anger, improve concentration, mood, energy and more.

It's not about money, you can give time, ideas and energy.

I went to a ladies circle last year and one of the ladies said this quote and we all found it so powerful.

So many of us say yes when we really should say no, we want to please others often at the
expense of our own time and energy.

Often when we say yes to others we are saying no to our own needs.

And when we do say no we feel like we have to explain ourselves - we don’t!

Saying no to what you don’t want or need doesn’t need an explanation. Sometimes there is no explanation, it’s just something you don’t want to do and that’s your prerogative.

You can assert yourself and empower yourself by enforcing your boundaries and saying no to what you don’t feel comfortable with, don’t have time or energy for or even just don’t want to do.

Saying no is self care as it helps to build your self esteem and confidence in yourself. It helps you to choose where to put your focus as well as time and energy.

Try it, say yes to you by saying no to others and remember no is a full sentence!
