Sobell Lodge - Leonard Cheshire Disability

Sobell Lodge - Leonard Cheshire Disability Sobell Lodge is a home providing a range of services for physically disabled adults. The residents ensure their home has a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Sobell Lodge consists of two self-contained lodges situated in the peaceful, rural village of Staplehurst in Kent. The village is located between the historic towns of Maidstone and Tonbridge and is close to local attractions such as Sissinghurst Castle — which boasts gardens maintained by the National Trust that are among the most famous in England — and Leeds Castle, a manor house dating back to 1119. Sobell Lodge is located just one mile from a mainline railway station which is fully accessible. We offer a wide range of activities, including cookery classes, discussion groups, and arts and crafts. There are also various fun days and fundraising events held at Sobell Lodge throughout the year, as well as raffles, quiz nights, a Christmas fair and barbecues for family and friends. Our fully-trained staff work hard to ensure everybody here is happy in their home. We support our residents to be independent and to take part in community activities as they wish.
