Celebrating, our Registered Manager- Marie Russ 🥳💜

Today we are celebrating a very special milestone, Marie’s 8th anniversary with Senescence Care.

Marie walked through the doors to Senescence 8 years ago, unaware of just how impactful her journey here would become. Over the years, she has worked in every role possible, gaining a deep understanding of all areas of our company. That experience combined with her dedication, is exactly why she is the exceptional Registered Manager she is today.

Marie is selfless, kind, caring and incredibly approachable, with her positive energy brightening every room she enters. Marie brings laughter and happiness to the workplace, but she is equally the calm in any storm and the constant we can always rely on.

Meet Our Fabulous Team 💜

Introducing the charming, Amarii. Amarii is one of our new starters here at Senescence and has hit the ground running, receiving lots of very positive feedback from our clients.

Amarii is new to the care industry and has said since starting he has learnt a lot about himself, what he is capable of and the importance of the work we do. Before starting in care, Amarii went to university and attained a degree in sports science.

Amarii became a dad in 2025, so can often be seen out of work armed with a nappy bag. In Amarii’s spare time he enjoys gaming and watching anime. Amarii is also a football fan, and supports Liverpool.. someone has to.

Amarii has become popular amongst clients and colleagues since starting with Senescence, and is at the beginning of what promises to be a strong and progressive career.

Meet Our Fabulous Team 💜

Say ‘Hello’ to our Assessment Coordinator, Melanie- known to us all, as ‘Mel’. Mel has been Senescence for nearly 4 years, starting out her career as a carer and working up to a Team Leader, and now is our Assessment Coordinator.

Mel has a great deal of experience in the care sector and has always been drawn to this work because of her kind-hearted and caring nature.

Melanie loves her holidays and has just booked one off her bucket list, touring around the states, Route 66, Diners, Viva Las Vegas- the lot!

In the summer time, there’s a strong possibility you will find Mel in a beer garden, soaking up the sun with a beverage in hand.

Mel has also been on a very successful health journey or ‘health kick’ as she often refers, and really enjoys swimming.

Melanie is an invaluable member of the Senescence team, recognised for her dedication, professionalism, and compassionate approach.

Meet Our Fabulous Team 💜

Introducing the one and only, Isabel, also know as Izzy. Izzy is one of our new starters here at Senescence, being with us for around 6 months, and it’s safe to say she has fit right in

Izzy is new to the care industry, due to wanting a change in her career and has said since becoming a carer she has realised how rewarding the job is.

Outside of work, Isabel enjoys going on walks and spending time with her dog, Zeus, who is a speedy whippet. Izzy also enjoys going out with her friends and enjoys a party, her tipple being a vodka and coke and known to be dangerous on the dancefloor.

Izzy is also a self confessed ‘Pro Doom Scroller’, which she informed me meant she can get lost and carried away scrolling through Tik Tok or Instagram reels... something most of us can sometimes be guilty of!

Izzy is proving to be a compassionate, thorough and impressive carer, receiving an abundance of positive feedback from clients since her starting.

Meet Our Fabulous Team 💜

Introducing the lovely, Lesley. Lesley has been Senescence for nearly 7 years as a care assistant.

Lesley has said she enjoys working in the care industry as she knows she can make a real difference to people lives.

Outside of work, Lesley enjoys spending time socialising with her family and friends and has a grandson and granddaughter. Lesley is also an active ‘Jet Setter’ and loves her holidays, her most recent being to sunny Mexico. Lesley loves travelling, and for her next stop, she decided to venture away from a typical beach holiday, and is visiting a snowy cabin in the Austrian mountains.

Lesley has a brilliant rapport with her clients and is always willing to go the extra mile. Lesley’s colleagues have described her as fun, positive and an uplifting member of staff, knowing Lesley will always support and motivate them.
