๐ช๐ฒ๐น๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑ!
At the beginning of every year, I pull a couple of spreads to show me how the year ahead will look. It's interesting looking back at last year's notes, and realising how events tied in with the cards I pulled.
This coming year, my cards are telling me to look inward, to be aware of my energy flows, to be more self aware, and to share my energies with others.
However, there are also warnings to be patient, to be aware of limitations, and to seek balance in all I do.
The card I've chosen to share with you today, is Strength. This is depicted by a woman holding a chained lion who stands calmly by her side. We ask ourselves, is the woman the one with the strength to calm and tame the lion, or is the lion providing her with the security and strength she needs? Or maybe it's a flow of energy between the two, providing comfort and security. Is the chain a symbol of power, or is it what holds us back?
My understanding of the card, is that we all have someone there who will be our lion in time of need, someone who has our back. The chain is not necessary so maybe it's time to look at what holds us back, and draw on our inner strength to cast it aside and move forward with the grace and power of the lion. Have confidence to stand your ground and don't dim your light because of others.
