Helpers Homecare has been providing care and support in the local community since August 1993. Working with mainly elderly people, and adults with disabilities, we support our clients in their desire to remain living in their own homes by providing both personal care and practical support. We have always believed it is important to try to enable and encourage those that use our service to be as independent as possible, so that they try to do those things they can manage for themselves, whilst we support them with tasks that they can no longer achieve unaided. In some cases this can mean helping people to the point they no longer need our support, but for others it can help them remain in their own homes for as long as possible. It is important to us to treat everyone as the individual they are, so that the support we provide is tailored to their specific needs, and involves family carers and other family members as appropriate.
