Alex and his support worker Neil headed out for a special shopping trip to pick up flowers and a birthday card for Alex’s mum. Alex took great care choosing the perfect bunch, a thoughtful gesture that sparked a lovely chat between the two about how good it feels to do something kind for someone else.

This outing marks a really positive step for Alex, getting out and about in the community and embracing meaningful moments. And yes, they had a “grate time” — Neil’s joke, of course! 😄

Ali really is getting out and about with his team and It’s wonderful to see Ali growing in confidence and getting more involved in his community. It sounds like Tom, accompanied by his Lead Support Worker Obed and Locality Manager Danielle, had a brilliant day at Thorpe Park! The day was filled with excitement as they braved the roller coasters and indulged in the park's many attractions. The great weather only added to the day, making it a perfect day for outdoor adventure. From screaming on high-speed rides to savouring delicious park food, Tom was in his element. The water rides provided a refreshing, albeit soaking, break from the adrenaline-pumping coasters. Overall, the day was packed with laughter, excitement, and unforgettable memories!

Judith's day in Hemel Hempstead with her support worker, Elaine, turned into a special treat when they stumbled upon a fantastic brass band. The band created a great atmosphere and Judith was captivated by the music. She danced, sang, and clapped along with the rhythm. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and soon she was conducting the band, adding her own flair to the performance. There's nothing like music to bring people together!

What an unforgettable night celebrating with friends, family, and the people we support! Jamie had an amazing time at the Man in the Moon pub, singing, dancing, and soaking up all the birthday love.

A huge thank you to Abigail, Jamie’s Lead Support, who made all the delicious party food, and to Jamie’s mum for the incredible birthday cake! 🍰👏

For many, attending a birthday party might seem simple but for others, it’s a huge step forward and a moment worth celebrating. That’s why we’re so proud of Ali and his team for joining Simon’s birthday bash and staying all evening!

This is a massive milestone, and we couldn’t be happier to see Ali out and about, connecting with his community. We hope this is just the beginning of many more joyful outings!

Congratulations to our Service Superstars, TC, Lucille, and Scott from Team Sam (and David)!

This month’s award goes to three incredible staff members who went above and beyond to make sure Sam received the care and attention he needed.

TC, Lucille, and Scott showed true dedication by staying late (some until 2:30am!) and coming in early without being asked. They kept in constant contact, checking in on Sam and offering support wherever they could. They also made sure David was okay, recognising how deeply he cared too.

This is what genuine compassion and commitment to people looks like. Thank you for being shining examples of what teamwork and support really mean. 🌟👏

Hannah and Katie, supported by Vicky and Ailis, enjoyed a fabulous Sunday together. They decided on a sunny walk to the pub where they enjoyed some pub food before going to watch the musical Shrek performed at Berkhamsted School. They sang and laughed all through the production. It was a great day out for all.

Simon and his Lead Support Worker, Andy, headed out for a day of clothes shopping in Hemel Hempstead. Then it was off to a special session with Electric Umbrella, a group Simon was excited to join after seeing them on Britain’s Got Talent! And of course, no shopping trip would be complete without a trip to Costa for that all important coffee!

As if that wasn’t enough, Simon also attended the coffee morning and service at St. Luke’s, where he sang a hymn for his friends using his brand-new birthday microphone, of course! 🎶🎁

With birthday celebrations, music, shopping, and star-studded fun, it’s safe to say Simon’s had a week to remember! 😄💛
