It’s been a very busy few days for David and his Support Workers, Mark and Fabio. First up was choosing a new car in St Albans with Fabio, a big decision, but after some careful thought the grey one won him over. Then it was time to pick out a new sofa with Mark, another important choice successfully made. To top it all off, the current car got a well‑deserved wash before heading home for a much‑needed rest.

Big decisions can be exhausting, but David handled them brilliantly.

Richard may have limited sight, but his cooking senses are spot‑on and Shrove Tuesday proved it once again! Making pancakes became a evening to remember for Katie & Hannah. On went the music, and supported by Sham, they all sang along to their favourite tunes while they enjoyed a 'flipping' good time cooking their pancakes. Fruit, golden syrup, lemon, sugar and chocolate spread were the fillings on offer and the girls tried them all.
What a great fun evening!

Ty has been really enjoying getting stuck into his artwork with Paula, his Support Worker, and it’s been a lovely way for him to stay busy and express himself. His team are doing a fantastic job keeping him engaged and occupied while everyone excitedly waits for the big move to his new home. It’s been a positive and creative time for Ty, and his artwork has become a real highlight of his days.

Nothing stops Jackie from getting out and about, not even the weather!
Wrapped up warm, she headed out with her Lead Support Worker, Kerry, for a lovely late‑afternoon walk in Leavesden Park. And of course, Peter Rabbit and Lilliput were up to their usual mischief along the way, keeping everyone entertained.

Jackie’s love for the outdoors always brightens our day.

At Partners in Support, we value and encourage each person’s individual beliefs, and Simon, who loves attending church, has recently started exploring new places of worship.

He and his support worker, Neil, visited St Etheldreda’s Church near Hatfield House, and it turned out to be a fantastic first shift together. They enjoyed the visit, took in the beautiful surroundings, and even found time for a well‑deserved coffee break to round off the day.

Simon is already excited for his next trip to discover another new church very soon.

With support from Maria, Jackie spent the morning crafting some beautiful heart decorations, which they proudly displayed in her window for the neighbours to enjoy.

After a fresh new haircut, Jackie headed out with Marian to the cinema to watch Kangaroo. She absolutely loved it and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a great film.

Rory and Alex took on the Stanborough Lakes 5k run, cheered on every step of the way by their support workers April and Ania. Both gave it their all and were thrilled with their achievements.

Alex powered through the full 5k running alongside April, and Rory pushed himself brilliantly, tackling 2.5k over uneven ground and muddy hills, and finishing strong with a well‑earned high‑five from race director Nicola.

A fantastic day of determination, teamwork, and positive support.

Jackie, supported by Georgia, had a fantastic time watching Queenz at the Grove Theatre. Jackie absolutely loves a trip to the theatre, and having seen this group perform before, she was excited for their return.
