As we come into Autumn , we start to learn to reflect and come back to our centre and root ourselves the best we can into mother earth.
And yet the stereotype of the calm yogi is so far from the truth! So many of us come to this practice because we want to understand what helps us feel more regulated and grounded.
Mostly we need the yoga because we are not always so calm!
But life isn’t about being calm ALL the time! I don’t mind admitting that I have spent a lot of time feeling overwhelmed as someone with potential ADHD and going through menopause.
I think my own personal life experiences have and are continuously teaching me how yoga can be utilised in my own life to help bring me back to my centre and find head space in this chaotic and challenging world.
This in turn then helps me to understand my yoga students challenges and situations also so I can relate and help them find that sense of balance and peace deep within.
Thank you for trusting in me to teach you yoga , it’s an ongoing learning and I am by no means polished or perfect ! In fact I’m just like you I’m trying to find the best version of myself and sometimes we thrive sometimes we fall , but remember your yoga mat will always be there for you , catching you and taking you to that safe space when we fall .
🍁 See you on the mats back in September 🍁- let’s reset
🍁-get grounded and enjoy coming into Autumn’s slower nourishing energy.
