Setting traditional New Year's resolutions is so last decade. The research shows that if you set a new year resolution today you will most likely give up by 17th January. This is because most people rely on will power alone instead of setting small intentions that can be achieved daily. The winter is also not the time to be hard on yourself about goals because just like nature, we are in hibernation mode ❄️ our bodies are fighting against the elements instead of embracing the darker periods. One suggestion is to take this period of rest and that doesn't mean do nothing at all, it just means apply action steps when you feel aligned and trust your body and mind when you need rest. We will be talking all about this at the Winter retreat and setting some clear intentions for coming in to the Spring..Ashleigh x
