This week is Mental Health Awareness week.

The theme is community.

When the world can feel full of division…a reminder that we can influence a shift to one of love and kindness 💜

So wherever you are, turn to those in your own little world today and start with the intention to be kind and show love. If you’ve been a bit off or niggly with a partner or loved one, if you’ve been stretching your patience over work or perhaps your kids have been chipping away at the reserves …time to reset. Time to remember that your little community deserves kindness and love. When you share kindness and love it comes back. It’s reciprocated. You can feel it. You will be lighter. And in turn…like a pebble in the water, your one little act of kindness will extend wider and wider until the world community feels kindness and love.

Give it a go today and share the little love and kindness moments if you are able to 💜

If I were to tell you that the last month has been overwhelming you might think “whaaaaat?! How can a mindfulness teacher be overwhelmed”
Well here’s the honesty folks…we’re all human. Whether we are training for a race, studying for a test or meditating every day…LIFE can still show up and smack us in the face.
Holidays and space are so important for me to reset and I’ve been very much needing as oppose to looking forward to this.
This is my reminder…as much as it is to you too…to take a mini break, roll on the floor, down tools, meditate, breathe, move your body…get on a plane. Whatever gives you that breather. Then regroup, keep practicing because you know the inhale always follows the exhale and it’s all about the practice.
Returning to balance…finding more lightness than shade. Especially in España ✨✨✨

We are all human.
Connected by the very air we breathe and the gravity that holds us here on this earth.
Everything affects everything else.
Widen our circle. Widen our compassion. Noticing our biases and assumptions.
This springtime…grow our compassion for others and in turn we will find more love for ourselves.

Today’s wisdom 🤣 just kidding…not much wisdom here BUT I am CURIOUS….about…everything!!!

If I think about my default thought it’s usually… “well that’s interesting” or a big “I wonder why…” might come to mind. The only way we show up in the world to learn more about each other or the goings on is to get real CURIOUS.

As the great Albert Einstein said “I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious”

Sometimes the world can feel like a scary and mean place. With people whose values may seem so alien to us. It's hard to understand and it can feel overwhelming about what to do to have a positive influence. The challenge can feel too much...

So...I am reminded that spreading kindness begins with you. Firstly by being kind to your mind and to yourself. Then those who are closest to you. Then to the stranger as you open the door, let them out at a junction, or thank them for their service. Then to the people you work with....and so it grows. Like a tiny pebble...you can begin the ripples of joy in the hope that one day they will reach the other side of the world like one big long daisy chain 🌼

This is your reminder to take more photos of YOU. I am reminded that whilst I’m on holiday I take snaps here and there of the kids. But what about the snaps of me. I was there too. What about snaps of mum and dad, granny’s and grandpas. They were there making memories too. These memories is what we’ll hold most dear in time.

Often my camera roll is where I go to look at suggested photos or memories which pop up on my iPhone. It’s a joyous trip to another time. And brings me great joy. I often share with friends too.

Lean into joy, cherish memories and share them. Chat about old times with family and friends and make an intention to keep creating new ones.

as you look outside your window from your warm and cosy home... does it feel like you are loving in a snow globe or a frosty winter scene?
the magic of Jack Frost inspires me and allows me to wonder about infinite possibility. There are so many questions of how and why that I can’t answer for my children about the sparkly crystals that cover the land that they inhabit. So we just gaze on with joy.
we scrape our names and love hearts in the glass and we wrap ourselves up warm with scarves and hats and watch our fog breath through the air. ❄️

My dog eared copy of Jack Kornfield’s "no time like the present". Sitting on my desk as I ponder where my work journey heads know that I have turned 40.

Interestingly, I was gazing across on my LinkedIn feed at the wonderful achievements others have made and it left me thinking why not me?, where did I slow down?

And then I remembered as I looked to this book on my desk that I can find freedom love and joy and my own sense of contentment right where I am.

Take a moment to appreciate how far you’ve come. Your journey is unique, and so are your milestones. 🌟
Find contentment in the present moment, and remember that you are exactly where you need to be. Growth is happening, even in the quiet times. Keep blooming at your own pace. 🌸✨

There is something so true about this as we close January out.
Did any of you feel that tremendous weight shift as we find ourselves turning the pages of our diary this morning?
No more January, no more new year new you, no more new plan. Just YOU being easing into this wonderfully precious month.

I find myself really grounding myself in February. February is the month that I feel the pressure lift for so many reasons.

It also helps when it’s a shorter month to pay day, right?

Built from very little but a desire that everyone should have an opportunity to practice Mindfulness as it is transformational. Three teachers brought together, yoga, mindfulness and reiki and started Tranceform. Our good friends and teachers have since retired or are supporting spreading the word in Glasgow but Louise continues on with the business based in Stirling.
