Are you a new parent? Your child will be offered vaccines that protect against serious illnesses like meningitis, whooping cough, measles and more. It’s important your child gets all the vaccines offered at the right time to ensure long-term protection as they grow.

🗓️ Here’s when vaccines are offered:
Six-in-one vaccine: at 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 16 weeks, and 18 months
Meningitis B: at 8 weeks, 12 weeks, and 12–13 months
Rotavirus: at 8 weeks and 12 weeks
Pneumococcal: at 16 weeks and 12–13 months
MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella): at 12–13 months and 18 months
Four-in-one (pre-school booster): at 3 years and 4 months

✅ You don’t need to do anything to arrange vaccinations. The NHS will send you an appointment letter when your child is eligible.

The 2025 winter flu vaccine programme has begun!

If you’re offered the flu vaccine, it’s for a reason – either because you’re particularly vulnerable to becoming seriously ill with flu, or to protect those around you.

Flu can be serious, especially for older adults, pregnant women, and those with underlying health issues. Last year, more than 6,500 adults in Scotland were hospitalized due to flu.

Vaccination is the best way to protect yourself and your loved ones from severe illness. Pregnant women, NHS and frontline care workers, children, and those with health conditions are all encouraged to get vaccinated.

Look out for your invitation and stay safe this winter!
