We offer a range of services throughout the community to raise awareness of all factors of trauma and abuse, and to offer support to those who may be impacted, choosing the therapy that will work best for the individual, working together towards empowering and supporting women and improving their mental and physical wellbeing. We offer therapies to help relieve the trauma, distress and isolation faced by women to recover from traumatic past experiences. Whether acute or post-traumatic stress, despite apparent resilience, mental health wellbeing will certainly have been dramatically impacted by trauma and will very often lead to future mental health issues and the therapeutic intervention offered by HSTAR Scotland shows conclusively the massive improvement to the mental health care and wellbeing for those affected by trauma, irrespective of whether there was a previous mental health condition, and to their ongoing survival and future, emotionally, physically and developmentally. We provide free services for female survivors of abuse or trauma: employability coaching, trauma informed parenting courses, grief and bereavement group coaching, mindfulness and yoga online classes, trauma sensitive budgeting workshops, advocacy support (legal, financial, physical and mental wellbeing, nutrition), also up to 8 free sessions of trauma counselling. We believe in empowering women by respecting and appreciating what makes them different, in terms of age, gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, education, thought and national origin. We have been supporting women from BAME minorities groups, women suffering from HIV and AIDS, ladies who identify themselves with the LGBTQA+ communities. We offer therapies in English, Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi, Spanish, Guajarati, Russian, Polish, Arabic, Syrian, Mandarin and Chinese. 🌟 The Power of Therapy. The Strength of Survivors. 🌟

Happy Friday to all!
As we embark at the weekend, we would like to share some thoughts and materials with you.

At HSTAR Scotland SCIO, we witness the extraordinary every day. Survivors who have faced trauma, adversity, and silence — stepping into the light, reclaiming their voice, and choosing to heal.

Therapy isn't weakness.
Therapy is resistance.
It’s courage in motion.
It’s saying: "I deserve to be whole."

Every session, every tear, every breakthrough — it all matters. Healing is not linear, and it’s not always easy. But it is possible. And you don’t have to do it alone.

We celebrate survivors today — and every day — not just for surviving, but for choosing to live, to grow, and to thrive. Your strength inspires us. Your stories shape change.

If you’re struggling, know this:
💬 There is help.
💜 There is hope.
🧠 Therapy works.

You are not alone.
You are not broken.
You are powerful beyond words.

🌟 We’re here to support you 🌟

HSTAR Scotland SCIO is honoured to continue on our journey with the help of the Scottish Government’s Survivors of Childhood Abuse Support (SOCAS) fund, managed by Scotland.

This funding is a crucial aid in continuing our mission to support all women in their healing journey. As such, we offer fully-funded therapeutic services to those who have experienced any form of childhood abuse.

In the recent report, our Founder, Ewelina Chin, says:

“Survivors of childhood abuse often carry burdens that affect their mental health, relationships, and overall well-being long into adulthood. Through our Rekindle Your Inner Child initiative, we aim to offer a safe and nurturing space for healing and empowerment. Our program is designed to help individuals reconnect with their inner selves, fostering resilience and personal growth.”

If you’re an adult survivor of childhood abuse—or know someone who is—please reach out. We’re here to listen, support, and help you on your journey to healing.

✨ Halfway Through the Year: A Moment to Reflect ✨

As we find ourselves halfway through the year, it’s the perfect time to pause and reflect on how far we’ve come and what still lies ahead. Life can be a whirlwind, and we often forget to nurture the parts of ourselves that once brought us pure joy and wonder—our inner child.

At HSTAR Scotland SCIO, we understand how important it is to create safe spaces where everyone, especially survivors of childhood abuse, can begin to reconnect with that spark of light within.

Project SOCAS (Survivors of Childhood Abuse Support) by Inspiring Scotland is delivered by HSTAR Scotland SCIO as one of 22 organisations funded for this incredible initiative. HSTAR is delivering the project in a partnership with SRFCA. As such, "Rekindle your inner child" was born to help survivors gently rediscover their inner child, offering a compassionate path to healing and self-expression.

Let’s make the rest of the year about nurturing this part of ourselves and finding the playful, creative spirit that still lives within. 🌿

Join us as we honour the journey of healing and reclaim the joy that’s always been yours.

⛔TW- Domestic Abuse Cases

When high-profile abuse cases make headlines, it can feel like the world is finally listening.

For many women, especially those who’ve felt silenced or disbelieved, seeing someone speak out publicly can be a turning point. It shows them they’re not alone. That what happened to them matters. That abusers can be held accountable; no matter their power, status, or fame.

But it’s also complicated. These stories can be painful and triggering.

They can bring back memories you have fought hard to forget. They can make you feel unsafe all over again.

At Glasgow Women’s Aid, we understand how public cases can have a private impact. If you’re struggling, if something you’ve seen in the news is bringing things up from your relationship, please know we’re here. 📍

You don’t have to speak out publicly to be believed. You don’t have to be in the spotlight to deserve support.

We believe you. We’ll listen, whenever you’re ready. ❤️

Healed Scars - an invitation to a safe and bright future

The Charity Healed Scars raise awareness about domestic abuse, support trauma, and violence survivors to rebuild their lives by giving access to free and accredited traumatologists, psychologists, life coaches, natural healers.

We focus on a large group of women in the UK who already have left their toxic relationships and support them to never step back there, by providing a wide offer of motivational, empowering, healing, trauma, and coaching programs.

We are a small charity based in Stirling with great hopes to make our world free from violence and abuse behind closed doors.
