And while you can target individual muscles to build them through training, the truth is that fat loss is a systemic process and occurs all over the body, not just in the area that you are working out.

To reduce body fat, you need to focus on NUTRITION. Fuel your body with nutrient dense foods and eat the required number of calories.
Pair nutrition with exercise that stimulates your larger muscle groups and expends a greater amount of energy and this will result in fat loss throughout your entire body- not just in the area that you are working out.
So, the next time you hear someone say that they're working on their abs to get rid of belly fat, remember it doesn't work that way.
