Funeral notice at the request of his family.

Gerald McGowan passed away peacefully in Fairview Care Home on Saturday 1st March 2025, aged 70 years.

A much loved brother, uncle, cousin and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday 19th March, at 10am, in St Mary’s RC Church, Stirling, followed by interment at St Thomas cemetery, to which all are respectfully invited.

Donations to Dementia Scotland are welcomed.

Evelyn Harron passed away peacefully at home, after a short illness, on Monday 18th November 2024, aged 75 years.

The beloved wife of the late Alex Harron, much loved mum to Lynn, Angie, Alexander and Wullie, proud gran to Steven, Cole, Honour, Brodie, Xander, Macy and great-gran to Theo and Beau.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday 27th November, at 3pm, in Stirlingshire Crematorium. All family and friends are respectfully invited to the ceremony and thereafter to McQues, in Bannockburn, to celebrate the life of Evelyn.

Today marks 10 years since taking over the business from my grandparents, Andy and Nancy.

Margaret Brisley, leader of Stirling Council, former Provost and Local Councillor of Bannockburn and Eastern Villages for over forty four years, passed away peacefully on Sunday 27th October 2024, aged 79 years.

The beloved wife of the late Billy, much loved mum to Julie and Paul, mother-in-law to Alan and Lynn, proud nana to Sarah, Gary, Hannah, Elizabeth, Lloyd and Adam, loving aunty to Joss and Cal, sister to Caroline, sister-in-law to Margaret and Jimmy and a treasured friend to all who knew her.

William “Billy” Grossart, of Greenloaning, formerly of BG Installations LTD, passed away on Sunday 15th of September 2024 in Cornhill Hospice, Perth.
