There can be a lot of contributing factors as to why you are leaking with exercise or in moments with increased pressure on the pelvic floor and ‘squeezes’ are not always the answer!

Kegels aren’t always the answer!

It’s actually very common for the pelvic floor to become too tight or overactive — just like any other muscle in the body.

An overactive pelvic floor can contribute to symptoms such as:
🔸 Bladder urgency/frequency
🔸 Pelvic pain
🔸 Pain during in*******se
🔸 Constipation

These are some of my favourite stretches to help reduce tension in and around the pelvic floor, which may help ease symptoms.

However, there are many reasons why the pelvic floor can become tight or overactive. If you’re continuing to struggle with symptoms, a pelvic health assessment can help identify and treat the underlying causes for longer-term relief.

Save this post for later, give them a go!
