Stirling Optical is an independent family practice, specialising in ophthalmic healthcare. We have the very latest optical technology, including digital retinal imaging, which enables us to detect all common eye conditions, as well as more serious ones such as Glaucoma. Our wide range of frames offers something for everyone, whether you prefer traditional styles or designer brands. If you haven't

visited us before, you'll find our frames are competitively priced and often cheaper than the chains. Everyone should have an eye examination at least once every 2 years and this is now fully funded by the NHS. If we can be of assistance, we would be delighted to help and hope to see you soon.

We recently posted about the new Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses we have in store and now you can see them in action!

Here’s Tony capturing his mountain biking and skiing adventures across Spain, France and Scotland completely hands-free. Just say, “Hey Meta, record this.” 👓

But, can you guess which clip was filmed in Scotland?

If you already wear prescription sunglasses, these are an easy add-on. As you can see from Tony, they look just like regular glasses… but they’re packed with smart features like photo and video capture, music, calls and even livestreaming.

Geraldine and Tony went down to the UK’s biggest Optical Show, 100% Optical, at London's Excel arena.

They bought (brand new to us) Polo, Persol and Etnia Barcelona which will arrive in store in the next few weeks.

We had a wonderful visit from the boys and girls at Fallin Nursery, along with their lovely teachers Laura and Gemma. They came to meet Alison and ask some brilliant questions about what it’s like to be an Optometrist!

It’s safe to say we may have some future eye care experts on our hands - though we think their favourite part was operating the elevating chair! 😄

A gentle reminder from our mini Optometrists:
- Under 16s are entitled to a free annual eye exam.
- Ages 16-60 should have their eyes checked every 2 years.
- Over 60? You’re eligible for a free yearly eye exam!

Eye health is so important at every stage of life. Don’t forget to book your check-up!

Playing football since he was 8, Kyle was signed by Stirling Albion this year. After starting at Forth Valley Academy, he joined St Johnstone, where he spent 7 years and won 2 under 18 league titles.

Now 18, Kyle is captain of Stirling Albion’s Under 20 squad, and has made his 1st professional debut for the senior team in the League Cup against Raith Rovers.

Playing as a central midfielder, he's known by the club for being an intelligent and creative player. We can’t wait to follow his journey this season! 👏
