YogaBellies Central Scotland offer boutique yoga classes for women at every stage of life, from puberty to pregnancy, with baby and beyond. "A community of women supporting women."

**************Yogabellies for Pregnancy.***************

Lots of mummies come along to my prenatal yoga classes from 12 weeks until birth. Classes run in blocks of 8 on Wednesdays and Thursday evenings online at 6.30pm. Who is this course for? Any mum-to-be over 14 weeks pregnant. If you are experiencing a normal pregnancy and would like to join the course in your third trimester this is fine but we would advise you to speak with your doctor or midwife prior to beginning the class. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions or have had any serious problems during pregnancy please run this past your GP or midwife before starting the class and discuss with me. I haven’t tried Yoga before - is this course for me? Most of our mum's are new to Yoga and trying it for the first time. That said, if you have had a good Yoga practice prior to pregnancy this is also a worthwhile class to attend throughout your pregnancy. This class is a great way to relax, stretch, bond with your baby & meet other mum's to be. :)

Other Information

Online Classes
Simply find a corner of calm in your home, a mat space, pillow or block and some water to keep you hydrated. You can even sneak into bed during relaxation

In Venue
I will provide:
Yoga mats but feel free to bring your own to place on top. If you could also bring your own pillow and blanket for relaxation. You need to bring:
Comfortable clothing that you can move in – leggings or jog suit bottoms and a vest or t shirt should be fine. Socks and a warm jumper or cardigan for during relaxation. Bottle of water to sip from. Please note Yoga is traditionally practiced barefoot so you will not need any special footwear. # # #

YogaBellies Post Natal Yoga (Mum & Baby Yoga) is all about your BAPs: Back, Abs and Pelvic floor! The body undergoes huge change during pregnancy and childbirth. YogaBellies for Mum and Baby is a unique post natal yoga class which focuses on mum’s three main areas of concern: the back, the abdominal muscles and the pelvic floor. We focus on rebuilding these three key areas post natally, at a pace that suits you. As the integrity of each of these key areas is interconnected, we work on all three at once to help bring back structural integrity to your body. At YogaBellies for Mum and Baby, we don’t “put baby in the corner” while you practice yoga :) Our exclusive post natal classes also incorporate baby yoga postures for your little one too so that they can practice with mummy! As every aspect of your life will include baby now, we help you integrate baby into your yoga practice, while feeling the benefits of yoga for you too. You will also learn breath awareness and relaxation techniques, which help to increase energy levels and allow you to relax while with baby (yes it is possible!!)

Yoga provides a wonderful resource for you and your baby that allows you to deal positively with stress, and encourage mindful relaxation in your role as a mother and to help gently guide the body and mind back to their former glory.

It's September already! 😱 Looks like we might have some autumnal weather this week, raincovers at the ready! 2 walks this. On Wednesday we'll meet at The The Battle of Bannockburn NTS at 10.30, then on Friday we'll meet at The Inn at Cambus, Cambus at 10.30. Walks are free and no need to book, hope to see you there!

We've listened to your feedback about our free Baby Box Workshop and heard that you want to know about other newborn-suitable slings, especially if the Baby Box Wrap isn't working for you.

Introducing the Newborn Slings Workshop!!

In this hour long workshop we'll cover:

- What slings are suitable for full-term newborns such as stretchy wraps, pre-tied stretchy wraps (Caboos), and buckle carriers
- How to know you're carrying your baby safely and comfortably
