Ladybrook Manor provides luxury life-enabling care for older adults, including residential and dementia care on a permanent or short-term basis. The home offers a wide range of bedroom options, as well as large, communal spaces for residents to enjoy including comfy lounges, a welcoming café and a hair and beauty salon. Outside there are beautiful, wheelchair-friendly landscaped gardens designed for relaxing or a gentle stroll. The dedicated team ensures that all residents’ individual needs and requirements are met; whether that is organising a favourite meal to be created by the chef or arranging exciting events, trips and on-site activities. There's always something to do, from pursuing favourite hobbies or learning new skills.

🌼💐 Happy Mother’s Day 💐🌼

Today we are celebrating all the wonderful mums, grandmothers and mother figures in our home. It has been lovely to see so many smiles as the residents received beautiful bunches of daffodils & roses to brighten their day. 🌼🌹

We would also like to say a special thank you to the amazing team members who are mums and are working today, caring for others on Mother’s Day. Your kindness, dedication and compassion mean so much to the residents and their families.

A huge well done to Marc (Maintenance) and John (Community Relations) for taking part in the Great Tommy Sleep Out 2026. What an incredible effort for such an important cause.

Marc (Maintenance) and John (Community Relations) are taking part in the Great Tommy Sleep Out 2026. We wish them the very best of luck tonight — even though the weather doesn’t seem to be on their side!

It’s all for a brilliant cause, and we’re incredibly proud of them for getting involved. 👏

We’re looking forward to hearing how the night goes and seeing how much they’ve managed to raise. Good luck, gents! ⭐

We’ve just received the photographs back from the lovely visit from Simply Shetland Therapy Ponies, and they were far too special not to share.

The residents absolutely loved meeting the ponies and it brought so many smiles 🙂🐴

Ladybrook Manor welcomed some very special visitors as we celebrated the Chinese New Year – the Year of the Horse 🐎🎉

We were delighted to be visited by Tullah and Tinkerbell from Simply Shetland. Our residents absolutely loved meeting these beautiful ponies, and there were plenty of smiles all around!

Tullah and Tinkerbell even visited residents in their rooms who were unable to attend the meet and greet, making sure no one missed out on this wonderful experience.

It was extra special for Hugh, who celebrated his 95th birthday and got to share his big day with these lovely horses — a memory to treasure!

🎷✨ The Era Tour Begins… The Roaring 20’s✨🎷

What a fabulous start to our Era Tour here at Ladybrook Manor Care Home! We stepped back into the glamour and glitz of the Roaring 20’s — and what a celebration it was!

We were delighted to welcome the wonderful Stockport Jazz, whose bass, trombone, piano, guitar and banjo brought the spirit of The Great Gatsby to life. Residents sang along to the toe-tapping jazz classics whilst sipping fizz and enjoying delicious canapés.

National Nest Box Week 🐦🔨

The residents got well and truly stuck in with their screwdrivers and hammers this week, building their very own bird boxes!

It was fantastic to see everyone working together, learning new skills, and supporting local wildlife at the same time. We can’t wait to see who moves in this spring! 🐦🌿

🥞 Flipping Fantastic Fun This Pancake Day at Ladybrook Manor! 🥞

We’ve had a wonderful time celebrating Pancake Day here at Ladybrook Manor! There were plenty of smiles (and a little bit of competitive spirit 👀) as our lovely residents took part in some pancake flipping.

Of course, the best part was sitting down together to enjoy them with everyone’s favourite toppings. 🍓🍋🍫

It’s days like these that remind us how important laughter, shared moments, and a little bit of friendly competition can be.

You’re invited to an afternoon of glitz, glamour and all that jazz at Ladybrook Manor! 🎷✨
On 25th February at 2:30pm, we’re stepping back to the roaring twenties for a 1920s Jazz Afternoon, featuring the fantastic Stockport Jazz Band.
Expect toe-tapping tunes, vintage vibes and a touch of Gatsby-style sparkle. Refreshments will be served, and all are very welcome to join us for what promises to be a fabulous afternoon.
So dust off your dancing shoes and join us for a little razzmatazz!

Today is Valentine’s Day – a lovely reminder that love can last a lifetime.
At Ladybrook Manor, we have the great privilege of caring for couples in our specifically designed suites, allowing them to remain together while receiving the support they need.
It is always special to see a love story continue, even as care needs change. Being able to support couples to share each day side by side is something we are truly proud of.
