We made the most of the sunshine this week at Ladybrook Manor and rolled up our sleeves for our big garden tidy-up! 🌿☀️

Our fantastic team came together to get everything summer-ready—clearing, planting prep, and bringing the grounds back to life ahead of our new flowers and shrubs arriving soon 🌸

Our residents love spending time outdoors, and we’re proud to provide beautiful, welcoming gardens for relaxing, socialising, and enjoying the fresh air. It’s all part of the care and lifestyle we’re passionate about every day 💚

We had a wonderful time celebrating St George’s Day here at Ladybrook Manor 🇬🇧

Our very own St George certainly rose to the occasion… and it’s safe to say the dragon didn’t stand much of a chance 🐉 (we can confirm it was a decisive victory… with a very convincing pose to prove it!)

The celebrations continued in true English style with a lovely social of tea and freshly baked scones, enjoyed by all.

A big thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make the day so special.

The residents took part in a fantastic “French safari” this week, led by Living Lingo Liz who brought her usual warmth, energy, and enthusiasm to the session 🇫🇷 🐘🦒

The room was filled with laughter, animated conversation, and plenty of smiles as everyone joined in exploring the French language in a fun and engaging way. C’état magnifique! ✨

🎶✨ Celebrating World Music Therapy Day at Ladybrook Manor ✨🎶

Today we turned up the volume (silently! 🤫🎧) with a fantastic silent disco in our dementia suite!

Our residents enjoyed personalised headsets, each listening to their favourite music—bringing back memories, sparking joy, and getting everyone moving. From classic hits to personal favourites, it truly was music tailored to the moment 💙

Before long, the glow sticks were out and there was plenty of boogying, laughter, and smiles all around!

Music has such a powerful way of connecting people, and today was a wonderful reminder of how it can uplift, engage, and bring happiness to our residents.

Today at Ladybrook Manor Care Home, we said a fond farewell to our wonderful chicks 🐣💛

They have been truly adored by the residents, team members, and visitors alike. Watching them hatch just in time for Easter brought so much joy, smiles, and special moments to everyone here.

Thank you, little ones, for the happiness you brought into our home — you will be missed! 🌼🐥

Manor 🌸

We had a wonderful time at Ladybrook Manor during our recent flower arranging workshop with Gail. The ladies really enjoyed getting creative and produced some truly fantastic floral arrangements 🌼💐

It was a lovely, relaxed session filled with colour, creativity and smiles, and the finished displays looked absolutely beautiful. Thank you to Gail for leading such an enjoyable workshop and helping make it such a special experience for everyone involved.

Although they didn’t take home the final award at the Care UK Star Awards 2026, being nominated is an incredible achievement in itself — and we couldn’t be prouder.

Receiving their certificate today was a reminder of the compassion, dedication, and hard work they bring every single day. The difference they make in people’s lives does not go unnoticed.
