Narcissists are drawn to strong, confident, and successful women. However, their attraction is not based on love, but rather on the desire for “narcissistic supply”, the admiration, status, and emotional labor that a strong woman can provide. Narcissists enjoy the challenge of “conquering” a strong, independent woman, because breaking down someone who seems unbreakable provides them with a profound sense of superiority. Sad but true.
The good news is that, as shattering as narcissistic relationships are, the experience can act as a crucible, forcing a deep, profound healing process within you that can result in immense personal growth, stronger boundaries, and a more resilient & worldly version of yourself ❤️
It’s one of the reasons I’m as strong as I am today 💪🏼
