Morning guys I hope you will all join me in signing this petition, it's about domestic abuse and how a perpetrator will give access to your impact statements whilst applying for things like non-molestation orders, restraining orders etc, as we all know domestic abuse is not exclusive to any particular relationships,

The petition currently stands at 100 signatures and nothing will change until it hits 100,000

Thank you to those who have signed it and also shared it.

If you haven't yet then why not? It could help you or someone you know.....

I am asking for only summary points to be given to a perpetrator of domestic abuse when being served with a non-molestation order, to help to minimise more harm or suffering for the victim

Some important information for us "full time carers" regarding the covid vaccine!!

If you still haven't received notification of your vaccine date be aware full time carers have now been pushed up the priority list!!

Please call your doctors surgery and ensure you are registered as a "full time carer" you will then be able to register straight away for a vaccine jab!!

So today I had been invited to take part in a zoom meeting with the occupational therapist department to give feed back on how they need to involve carers more when they treat people and how they approach carers to talk about the cared for!! Over a week this appointment had been made!! And of course as expected they haven't bothered!!
Yet again another complete disregard for carers!!

As stockport disability darts league is the only darts organisation that recognises the full spectrum of disability that I know of, we know that a person's disability does not just affect the person with a disability!

At sddl we incorporate all aspects of disability, we recognise that through our total inclusion of disability its giving back a sense of competition , its rebuilding relationships which in turn improves a persons, a couples, a families, a carers wellbeing and we are helping stop social isolation with in disability!

So yesterday after 8 years and two previous requests that didn't materialise, I had my first ever carers assessment, by the time we were half way through it i was told my situation was "critical" how many more cases must there be like this??

This is not a political post but one of importance!!!
If you have attended any of the mass gatherings/ protests please can you stay away from anyone that is a fulltime carer!! For a minimum of 14 days!!!
I'm a fulltime carer and have more important things to worry about!!!!

So it would appear Scotland are now starting to appreciate the job we do as carers!!

If your property has to be adapted for Disability make sure you inform the council tax department of your councils!! You may be entitled to a discount depending on the amount and levels of adaptions your property needs!

We want to hear both posative and bad experiences you've had in your role as a carer!! Either if you feel you've been fobbed off (which happens everyday) or if a department you've delt with has been helpful!
As I am in direct contact with relivant heads of departments all feed back here will help to build a criteria of how carers are left forgotten, spoke about as the third party, etc etc! So these issues can be put right, wether it's,
A hospital discharge
A hospital discharge that's gone wrong
A change in circumstances
A change that require helpful aids for carers

This page has been set up as a help and support page for full time carers, we are the unspoken few!! This page will help all carers to get their hidden rights YOU are the entitled to such as restbite, PPE, care support mental and physical support and well-being!
Carers full under the health and safety at work act which many don't realise!! So even council offices don't know this!
They all have a duty of care to carers!!!
