This is betty….betty has dementia, her family asked us to care for her at home visiting her regularly through the day. It’s taken a while but her wonderful carer Allison has managed to get her out and about each week, taking her to the garden centre to buy plants and for lots of lunches. She asked Allison to take these photos so she can remember that she had gone out and enjoyed it. 🥺

🌿 A Special Day Out Together ☕🍰

We recently took some of our lovely clients to Notcutts Garden Centre for coffee and cake. All of these wonderful individuals have one thing in common — they live alone — so opportunities like this to get out, meet others, and enjoy some company are incredibly important.

For some, there may have been a little apprehension before coming along, but once everyone settled in, the smiles, laughter, and conversation soon followed. It was so lovely to see everyone socialising together, sharing stories, and simply enjoying being part of a group.

Moments like this remind us how important companionship and connection are. Something as simple as coffee and cake can mean so much when it’s shared with others. 💚
