🎉 Happy Children's Health Day! Let's Get Moving! 🤸

Your home, garden, or local park is the perfect place to start moving! Try to get at least 60 minutes of active time every day—it doesn't have to be all at once!
The Super-Speed Dance Party: Put on your favorite song and have a 3-minute dance-off! Can you invent a new move?
Animal Adventures: Pretend to be different animals! Crawl like a bear, hop like a frog, waddle like a penguin, or sneak like a cat!
Backyard Obstacle Course: Use pillows, ropes, or chalk to create a fun course. Can you jump over the pillow mountain and zig-zag through the chalk path?
Family Walk & Talk: Go for a walk after dinner. Talk about your day, look for interesting birds, or count how many blue cars you see!
Nature's Playground: Climb safely on playground equipment, swing high, or play tag with friends.

Building strong connections during the first two years of your baby’s life makes them feel loved and secure, laying the foundations for their future mental health and happiness.
Looking, listening, and warmly responding to your baby makes a big difference. To interpret cues and build strong connections with their baby, parents can mirror their baby’s reactions, comfort them, play face-to-face and let them take breaks when they need it.
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has launched a new Better Health Start for Life – If They Could Tell You campaign, which aims to support parents to build a strong bond with their baby. For tips and advice visit the Start for Life website.

This week is Migraine Awareness Week.
Are you living with migraines? Understanding your triggers and symptoms is key to managing the condition. Here are a few ways to help:

Keep a migraine diary: Note when an attack occurs, what you were doing, what you ate, and how long it lasted. This can help you identify your personal triggers.

Manage stress: Stress is a common trigger for many people. Try relaxation techniques like mindfulness or meditation.

Prioritise sleep: Stick to a regular sleep schedule to help prevent attacks.

If your migraines are frequent, debilitating, or if you're concerned about a change in your symptoms, don't hesitate to contact our practice. We are here to support you in finding the right treatment and management strategies.
