We are delighted to share that Bredbury Medical Centre has received a Certificate of Excellence at the EMIS NUG Awards 2026 for our work in Reducing Health Inequalities.

This achievement recognises meaningful work to improve access and support for underserved communities. A huge thank you and congratulations to Dr Victoria Galvis, whose hard work, dedication and leadership have been central to this project.

We are very proud of this recognition and remain committed to improving care, access and outcomes for our patients and local community.

Help is available across Stockport and the UK for anyone who may be struggling, whether it’s stress, anxiety, low mood, or other concerns.

Checking your blood pressure at home is a simple way to keep track of your heart health.

High blood pressure often has no symptoms, so regular monitoring can help detect problems early. Try to check your blood pressure at the same time each day, while relaxed and seated comfortably.

If your readings are consistently high, speak to one of our healthcare providers for advice.

Talking to a healthcare provider, family, or friends can make a big difference. You are not alone, and asking for help is a sign of strength.
