Lips 💋

This lovely lady lost her top lip on smiling and wanted more volume in this area

She has tricky M shaped lips so we are going slow and building up to be safe, but we are both really happy with her results so far 💛

Regulations for aesthetics in the UK one small step at a time... 🙌

From June 1st 2025 ALL aesthetic procedures that require a prescription such as, Vitamin injections, Anti Wrinkle injections and Prescription Skincare will need to have a face to face consultation with a prescriber prior to treatment.

This is to keep You safe, and is now law

A consultation will include:
- Thorough medical history
- Suitability for treatment
- Informed Consent
- Risks, benefits and alternative treatments
- Pre and Post treatment instructions
- Availability should complications arise

This is already standard practice in my clinic 👩🏻‍⚕️

If your practitioner is not a prescriber and you simply turn up and have your treatment, ask yourself if they cut corners and risk your safety on this then what else are they cutting corners on.... 😬

When a little goes a long way 💗

As we age the muscles around the lips relax and loose tone, leading to a weakening of the lip structure. This means lips that were once upturned and pouty turn inwards and can almost disappear 😑

By adding a small amount of lip filler to the upper lip and supporting the skin above we have now a more youthful, shapely lip and fewer lip lines above while still looking very natural

Turning back the ageing clock 🎉
