🎪 Only at Hazel Grove Carnival… 🎉

We are having a brilliant time today at Torkington Park — and a big highlight for us was seeing the Mayor and Mayoress getting stuck into a classic game of hook-a-duck at our stall! 🦆👏

It was such a fun moment and a reminder of what community events are all about — connection, joy, and a good bit of friendly competition! 💜

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to chat, play, and support us — we’ve loved every minute of it!

🎉 We’re off to the Hazel Grove Carnival – and you’re invited! 🎪💚

Come and join us on Saturday 19th July at Torkington Park for a fantastic day of family fun at the Hazel Grove Carnival Fun Day!

There’ll be:
🐶 A dog show

🫏 Donkeys & sheep to pet
🏃‍♂️ Ferret racing (yes, really!)
🎶 Live music and dancing
🍔 Artisan food court & 2 licenced bars
🚂 Even a land train to ride!

🪩 What a night at the Dementia Disco! 🎶💜

We had an absolutely fantastic time at the Dementia Disco — and let’s just say... Elvis was on top form! 🎤🕺

There were smiles, dancing, and plenty of feel-good moments shared with some truly lovely people. Events like this really show how powerful music and connection can be — especially for those living with dementia and their families.

A big thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a special evening — we’re already looking forward to the next one!

Happy Thursday, everyone 👋!

Today, we wanted to remind you of the importance of staying safe during hotter weather ☀️. With temperatures 🌡️ climbing and high UV levels expected this week — in some areas reaching or passing 30°C — the CareYourWay team 🌸 wanted to gently remind everyone to take extra care in the heat 💜.

We’re not weather experts, but we do know how important it is to look after ourselves and each other 🫶 when the days get hotter, and here are some easy tips to do so ✅:

💦 Keep hydrated with regular drinks!
🧢 Wear a hat, light clothing, and sunscreen outdoors!
🌿 Seek out shade during the hottest parts of the day!
🍓 Enjoy cool, light snacks!
📞 And check in with loved ones who may need a little extra support!
