Heaton moor medical group are experiencing issues with the phone system.

If you require an appointment or medical advice please access our online triage system via the website.

** Cale Green and Davenport Surgery patients**

Cale Green Surgery is now open. For the last few months the surgery has been closed for a complete refurbishment. The building is now open, changes have been made to ensure the building is accessible for all patients. The entrance will now be round the back of the building accessed via a newly built access ramp. We have added 2 more consultation rooms so we can offer more services for our patients.

Davenport Surgery (formally known as Cedar House Surgery) has now been closed. All patients who attended this site will now when making an appointment be asked to visit the Cale Green Surgery which is 0.4 miles away (less than a 2 minute drive and an 8 minute walk).

Cale Green Surgery has a ground floor and level 1. If you have an appointment at Cale Green you will be asked if you are able to access the first floor without a lift. If you are not we will ensure you are seen on the ground floor by the clinician in one of the 3 consultation rooms on the ground floor.

Davenport Surgery building is not owned by the practice and unfortunately the building is up for sale therefore, the services have been moved to Cale Green Surgery.

Following on from our previous post regarding scammers, this has been happening across Greater Manchester and is not only impacting our practices but other GP practices.

The surgery have not had a data breach. Please can patients refrain from posting such information which is false.

**WARNING**

We have been informed that scammers are contacting patients pretending to be from the surgery or working alongside the surgery and trying to sell products. They are asking for bank details or payment. If you receive such a call please end the call and inform the practice and police via 101.

Update: 5pm

The systems are still down at Heaton Moor Medical Group. Since 7am this morning we have been unable to access the clinical system.

This has had a huge impact on the day, where possible the practice have tried to see patients. For those who have been impacted and had their appointment cancelled, please call the practice on Monday and we will try to rearrange your appointment as quickly as possible.

Today has been a challenge for the staff but we want to thank the patients for their understanding and support today.

Hopefully the systems will be up and running for Monday morning.

We will update as and when we can.

Update: 12.15pm

The clinical systems are still down. Where possible the practice are seeing patients without their clinical record for acute issues. It is extremely difficult so a few appointments have to be rebooked. If you are unsure of you are able to attend for an appointment today please call the surgery beforehand.

The whole of North west clinical systems are down. This is out of our control and we hope to have the systems up and running as quickly as possible.

Heaton Moor Medical Group feedback for May 2024.

Each time you have an appointment at the surgery you will receive a friend and family questionnaire to ask a few questions about the service provided. This was the latest feedback for last month.

As you can see 90% of patients rated their service very good or good.

A few patients have enquired regarding the closing of Davenport Surgery- The practice will remain open and services provided as usual for the foreseeable.

Patient services will continue to be provided at Heaton Moor Medical Centre, Adswood Road Surgery, Bosden Moor Surgery, Davenport Surgery, Dean Lane Surgery and Little Moor Surgery. Cale Green Surgery will be re opened over the next few weeks after a full refurbishment. Thank you for all your patience and understanding.
