Had a lovely time giving Reiki to these lovely ladies! They enjoyed reading the Self Care and Gratitude oracle cards they picked as they totally resonated with them. 💫

Each set of Orcale cards has a book that goes in depth into the meaning of each card 💫

💫 People often ask me, who are the gentlemen in the photos on my altar?

They are our Ascended Masters:

💫 Master Mikao Usui, the founder of the Reiki Usui Method

and

💫 Dr Chujiro Hayashi who became a student of Master Mikao Usui.

💫 Master Mikao Usui was a priest and scholar. After endless searching for answers to the many questions he had about his beliefs, Usui is blessed with spiritually receiving the symbols and knowledge that is Reiki.

💫 Dr Chujiro Hayashi was a good man and decides to dedicate his life to Reiki and all it is, he is made a Reiki Master before Mikao Usui passes on.

I'm sure people are curious about what goes on at a Reiki session!

Well, Reiki can be given to a person whilst they either lie down or sit up.

In my Taster Sessions I always give Reiki to people sitting down as you can see in the photos below 😊

Here are my Reiki Level 1 and 2 Certificates. As you can see I am trained in the Usui Method.

What is the Usui Method?

Master Mikao Usui developed Usui Reiki Ryoho, the most current form of Reiki, in 1922. However, people have practiced Reiki for about 2,500 years.

Usui Reiki Ryoho translates as 'Usui Spiritual Energy Healing Method'. The Usui Reiki Ryoho lineage aims to reflect the practices that were taught by Master Mikao Usui during his lifetime.

At my sessions you will receive a 15 min Reiki Session (Level 2 Usui Method) and the opportunity to pull an oracle card from the Gratitude and/or Self Care Inspirational Oracle decks that will help you on your journey to personal growth, health and happiness.

Reiki Taster Sessions

Are you looking for some ‘you’ time in your busy day? Heard of Reiki but not sure what it is?

Then why not come along for a mini Sanctuary style session!

Reiki helps create balance, harmony and relaxation. It can clear energy blocks, help with spiritual growth. Reiki can help to clear the mind and help you feel grounded. It may relieve pain and support physical body healing.

At this session you will receive a 15 min Reiki Session (Level 2 Usui Method) and the opportunity to pull an oracle card that will help you on your journey to personal growth, health and happiness.

Time slots are between 7pm - 9pm on advertised dates.

The price is £10 (plus a small Eventbrite fee) for 15 mins of Reiki and the opportunity to pull an oracle card to support the energy you receive on the day.

By Car
Crescent Road Community Centre is close to the big Tesco at Portwood Roundabout. Continue to Tiviot Way/A6188, At Portwood Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Carrington Rd/B6104, Continue on Charlotte Street. Drive to Crescent Road, turn left onto Charlotte Street, turn right onto Gill Street, turn right onto Crescent Road and the venue will be on the right hand side.

By Bus
The 330 bus drops you on Carrington Road near Crescent Road Community Centre. Alight at Offerton Street bus stop and walk for 3 mins. Turn left into Crescent Road and keep walking straight until you see the Community Centre on your left hand side. See photos.
Parking: there is FREE on street parking available, in particular on Dawson Street. See photos.

What to expect when having a Reiki energy session:

• You will be asked to take a seat, you can then decide if you are happy to have the Reiki practitioner put their hands on your shoulders, you may prefer hands to be held above your shoulders which is fine.

• You may like to close your eyes whilst the Reiki is taking place, but this is not essential.

• Please wear something pale in colour with no patterns if possible.

• Please keep in mind your body will accept all the Reiki it requires so you don’t have to do anything except be open to receiving the Reiki energy.

Allergies: There will be the fragrance of Nag Champa incense in the space, so please say in advance if you have asthma or any allergies this may affect.
