Togetherness offers a wide range of free online learning pathways for parents and families. These bitesize, self‑guided modules cover childhood development, behaviour and emotional health — and you can complete them at a time that suits you. Pathways are also available in multiple languages.

Pathways include:
👶 Antenatal and postnatal emotional health
🧒 Early childhood development and behaviour
🌈 Special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Adolescence and young people’s mental health
🌿 Adult emotional health, including trauma

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is one of the common viruses that cause coughs and colds in winter. RSV causes mild symptoms in most people, but can be serious for some infants, older adults and people with chronic medical conditions as it can lead to pneumonia (a lung infection) and bronchiolitis (a chest infection that affects babies).

Shingles is a common condition that causes a painful rash. It can sometimes lead to serious problems such as long-lasting pain, hearing loss or blindness.

You're more likely to get shingles, and it's more likely to cause serious problems, as you get older or if you have a severely weakened immune system.

The shingles vaccine helps:
reduce your chances of getting shingles
reduce your chances of getting serious problems if you do get shingles

Bowel cancer screening uses a test called a faecal immunochemical test (FIT) to look for blood in a sample of your poo. This could be a sign of bowel cancer.

You collect the sample at home and send it by post to be tested.

It can help find cancer early, and before you have any symptoms, which may mean it's easier to treat. Bowel cancer screening is currently offered to people aged 50 to 74 every 2 years.

This is because your risk of getting bowel cancer gets higher as you get older.
