Big news from behind the scenes… 👶💛

If you’ve visited us recently, you might already know — but for everyone else, surprise! Our lovely Heather is expecting a baby and absolutely glowing ✨

She’s been working her magic right up to the very end, but she’ll be heading off on maternity leave from August 23rd to rest, nest, and welcome her little one 💕🩵

We’re so excited for her and can’t wait to meet the newest (and tiniest) member of our team 🐣

UNLICENSED PRODUCTS - PLEASE READ IF YOU HAVE ANTI-WRINKLE TREATMENT

This story highlights the exact reason that there needs to be regulation in aesthetics. The practitioner who injected this lady (and various others) used an unlicensed product from South Korea and offered this at a price of between £75 and £100 for three treatment areas. This led to an out break of botulism in the practitioners local area and the lady in this article became seriously ill.

For us, this highlights the need to educate clients more on the use of unlicensed products, which are definitely not being prescribed (all toxins should be prescribed by a registered professional and no registered professional would EVER prescribe an unlicensed product)!

The red flags to look out for are:-
• unreasonably cheap treatments
• no face to face appointment with a prescriber prior to your treatment
• lack of a consultation outlining the products used, risks and benefits and time for you to digest that information

Please do your research prior to your treatment, ask your practitioner about the products they use, research the pharmacy that they are supplied from, research your prescriber (you can search the NMC/GMC/GDC/GPC register to find the practitioners) and ask questions!

We are holding our first prescription clinic .sk on 𝟭𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 with our lovely prescriber Kathryn 🤍

These prescription clinics are for our clients who have anti-wrinkle injections (Botox). Due to the new regulations, you will need to be seen by Kathryn each time you would like your anti-wrinkle treatment to get a new prescription, face-to-face!

Kathryn will be at the shop from 10am and consultations will be by appointment only.

These appointments are getting filled quite quickly, so if you are thinking of having your anti-wrinkle treatment in the next couple of weeks/months, do let us know if you would like to attend so your prescription is ready!

The consultations are FREE of charge and will last for around 20 minutes.
