This is a great FREE course. Your loved one with Dementia is looked after in another room. If you've not already done it, get signed up ASAP. Unfortunately you have to be registered with a Cheshire East medical practice to qualify - but Stockport may have something similar, check with Signpost.

Caring for a loved one who is living with dementia can be incredibly challenging, especially when unwelcome changes in their behaviors arise. Bearing in mind, as best we can in each moment, that the changes are a result of the disease can be helpful.

It's no one's fault. It's dementia.

☕CUP OF TEA?☕

Poynton High School are hosting their annual afternoon tea on Tuesday 15th July. The students prepare everything themselves; the food, decorations and even the entertainment! All of this is put on especially for our older residents.

WOW Poynton Golden Memories has made it to the FrontPage of the local paper. AND today Gerald Scriven, Edith Mary Clark and I are going to the Medical Department of Manchester University to give a presentation about our Group at The National Festival of Public Health - wish us luck!
