We’re inviting you to host a Caring Cuppa to support our Stockport NHS Charity Incubator Appeal and help us buy a state-of-the-art incubator for our neonatal unit. Your support will help give our tiniest patients the best possible start.

Bring together family, friends, neighbours, or colleagues—at home, at work, or in your community.

Enjoy a cuppa and a catch-up, ask for a small donation, and know that every pound raised helps us equip our neonatal team with vital, life-saving equipment.

Our urology and learning and education teams provided a training day this week for medical colleagues from across the North West in the innovative surgical technique of ‘HoLEP’ , a minimally invasive prostate laser surgery procedure with advantages including reduced bleeding and faster recovery times. Big thanks to Bramhall and Woodford Rotary for their support for our Stockport NHS Charity neonatal incubator appeal.

They visited our neonatal unit to present a kind and generous donation of £1000 towards the appeal which will help support our tiny patients.

Do you know the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer?

If you’ve had blood in your poo or bleeding from your bottom, a change in bowel habits, unexplained weight loss or a pain or lump in your tummy, and these symptoms last three weeks or more, it’s time to get them checked out.

Chances are it’s not bowel cancer, but if it is, finding it early can make it much more treatable.
