A wonderful Iftar feast celebration feast yesterday evening in our hospital restaurant, following the breaking of the fast during the holy month of Ramadan.

Staff members who observe the month together with friends, family and supporters, including board members and our chaplaincy and spiritual care team, enjoyed both the celebration and the delicious food, with great thanks to our award-winning catering team.

NHS Greater Manchester is running a short survey to learn more about people whose shoulder pain hasn’t resolved with conventional treatment and may need further clinical care.
They are especially keen to hear from people who injured their shoulder:

• Through sport or exercise (e.g. rugby, martial arts, gym training)
• Through manual or repetitive work (e.g. plastering, construction, trade work)

If that sounds like you, we’d appreciate you taking a few minutes to complete the survey (link in the comments below). Don't forget to share with anyone who might be interested. Thanks!

There are many ways to mark the day – whether you light a candle in memory of someone, make a mini memorial for your windowsill, or hold a moment of silence. Whatever feels right for you. 🩵

Spaces for reflection are open across the borough: https://orlo.uk/ky0lT
