THREAD VEIN REMOVAL
If you have thread veins on your face, advanced electrolysis is the perfect treatment. Thread veins, are permanently dilated capillaries. The very thin walls of the fine facial capillaries dilate and constrict constantly throughout life to regulate our body temperature. But as we age, they lose their elasticity and the ability to constrict, so often they become permanently dilated and visible through the skin. Advanced electrolysis is a specialised treatment that uses an electrical current and just the very tip of the finest, smallest needle possible to help to remove unwanted skin blemishes
Following thread vein removal, some aftercare will be necessary. Immediately following your treatment, skin may appear a red and swollen it may feel hot and even sore. This will subside
Micro crusting or scabs may appear to seal the skin and prevent infection. These must not be rubbed or picked off, as to do so may result in scarring. The micro scabs may felt rather than seen .
* Apply a cooling gel such as Aloe Vera to the area quite liberally this will keep the area cool
* Avoid direct heat such as hot bath or showers, saunas and exposure to sunlight or sunbeds.
* Use SPF 50
* Do not apply any other product to the treated area unless specifically advised to do so
* Avoid touching the area unnecessarily
EXPECTATIONS
Once scabs have healed you will have a paler/pinker area of skin where thread vein once was, this will become same colour as your skin within time. Often to the naked eye it will not be visible where treatment has taken place.
allow 6 weeks to see healed results - initially newly healed skin can be confused for pink Thread Veins.
