We are recruiting for a part-time Overnight Call Handler to join our dynamic Stockport based operational team. The main responsibilities of the post-holder will be working on overnight shifts to effectively handle all incoming calls from different work streams. You will also be required to work on reception, welcoming patients and visitors into our centre as well as undertaking general admin duties.

Some of our lovely colleagues at Mastercall donated items to the incredible team at the MacMillan Wellbeing Centre (pictured below) to help support their upcoming Summer Fair.

🌟 Mastercall were delighted to attend the NHS Greater Manchester Anchor Network workshop yesterday at Cross Street Chapel.

The afternoon featured impactful sessions on GM’s Anchor-related workstreams, evolving social value policy, and strategic priorities for 25/26. Attendees heard from a range of partners exploring how anchor institutions can drive inclusive employment, wellbeing, and equity across our region.

👏 Our Marketing & Brand Manager and Social Value SRO, Kay Carter, contributed to the conversation by presenting Mastercall’s award-winning approach to social value—highlighting our national recognition at the UHUK Awards.

A great opportunity to learn, share best practice, and help shape the future of anchor collaboration in Greater Manchester!

As part of our ongoing commitment to social value, Mastercall is proud to support the amazing work of the MacMillan Wellbeing Centre at Trafford General Hospital by donating Body Shop goodie bags to their service users.

The centre offers a warm, welcoming space for people to access counselling, beauty therapy, creative sessions like sewing, knitting & crochet, as well as gentle exercise and yoga. It's a vital hub of support and care for so many, and we’re honoured to contribute in a small way.

If you or a family member are struggling with the effects of a cancer diagnosis, illness or treatment - you can call or drop in – they are there to help. Mastercall was delighted to sponsor a table at the 2nd Stockport Rocks awards recently which, gave recognition to Stockport’s volunteer community. Attended by Michaela Buck - CEO and Dr jullien walkley - Chairman, it was the most humbling experience.

It was wonderful to give recognition to all the amazing people who dedicated their lives and gift their time to supporting Stockport’s community.

Today marks 8 years since the tragic events of May 22, 2017, at Manchester Arena — a night that changed lives forever.

We remember the 22 lives lost, the hundreds injured, and the countless others who carry the emotional weight of that night. Our thoughts are with their families, friends, and all those affected.

We were delighted to welcome back the children from Moorfield Primary School last week to see the wildflower bed they helped plant at Mastercall. The flowers are now coming through, and the first signs of colour are already attracting some early pollinators! 🌱🌸

Thank you to these young nature lovers for helping us create a space that supports biodiversity and brings a little more beauty to our community. 💚🌿

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming the fantastic team from Public Health Stockport to Mastercall HQ for an insightful and engaging talk.

They covered vital topics including:
🔍 What cancer is
⚠️ What causes cancer
🛡️ How to prevent it
🔔 Key signs and symptoms to look out for

The session then focused on skin health and Melanoma, highlighting how early detection and awareness can make a life-saving difference.

A huge thank you to Public Health Stockport for delivering such an important and informative session for our colleagues. Let’s continue spreading awareness and protecting our skin! 💪🧴
