About Me
Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to read this. My name is Rebecca and I’m a Mobile Massage Therapist based in Stockport. I set up Optimistic & Holistic in November 2017 with the intentions of providing holistic treatments to reduce stress and help improve the mental and physical wellbeing of those living in and around my local community.
I’ve had a keen interest in Aromatherapy for as long as I can remember. When I was at school my Mum regularly took me to a local Garden Centre to feed the ducks, and whilst there I’d always gravitate to the tiny Aromatherapy section. (I must have read the back of those Lavender and Tea Tree bottles a hundred times!)
I never thought I could make a career out of Aromatherapy and in 2012, when my Mum was diagnosed with cancer the thought was completely pushed out of my mind. As an only child I became my Mum’s carer at age 20, which I still am to some extent, and spent the next few years looking after her.
