What a busy and beautiful day at Clumber House! 🎶💃 This afternoon, we were joined by Stockport Rhythmix Dance Studio – the hall was packed with residents, staff, families, and lots of lovely children with their parents. They treated us to an emotional and heartwarming set of songs that had everyone smiling (and a few happy tears too!). ❤️

This morning, we made some more photos and our residents helped me make goodie bags for the children – such a lovely way to start the day! 🎁 And of course, we couldn’t forget… a big happy birthday to Angelo! 🎉🎂

We’ve had such a fun and lively few days here at Clumber House! 🎶✂️ On Thursday, we were treated to a wonderful performance from the lovely Poynton Reflections – it was a joy to have them with us – and our residents were also pampered by the hairdresser! 💇‍♀️

We’ve also enjoyed some sporty games and pampering 🏓 and we’re looking forward to welcoming a local children’s group after lunch for a special performance – we can’t wait! So many smiles and moments to remember. ❤️

Yesterday was a day full of smiles and sunshine! 🌸☀️ Joan and I enjoyed a lovely day out together, making the most of the beautiful weather. When we got back, we rolled up our sleeves and got creative, planting some colourful hanging baskets around the home. They’ve really brightened up the place – and we had such fun doing it too! It’s amazing what a little teamwork (and a lot of flowers!) can do. 🌼🌿

With the sunshine making another appearance last Friday, we had a truly wonderful day! ☀️🐾 We welcomed our registered therapy dog, Alfie, who brought so much joy and plenty of smiles to everyone. Our residents (and staff!) love spending time with him, and later on we enjoyed relaxing in the garden, and soaking up the sun. In the afternoon, Joan and I took a lovely trip into Poynton – a perfect afternoon full of chats, laughter, and fresh air. What a fantastic way to enjoy a beautiful day!

With the sun shining this afternoon, we thought it was the perfect time to enjoy a little treat – ice lollies all round! 🍦☀️ Our residents (and staff!) had a lovely time cooling off with a sweet snack and soaking up the sunshine together. Smiles, chats, and a bit of sunshine – what more could you ask for?

Here are some more sunny snaps from a lovely, busy day at Clumber! ☀️📸 We had the hairdresser in, Darcey was making her rounds spreading joy (and cuddles, of course!), and the sunshine kept us smiling all day long. 💇‍♀️🐾🌼

We’ve also started giving our back garden a little makeover, and some of our residents enjoyed relaxing in the sun while others got stuck in – including Bill, who even helped us with the clean-up! 🧹🌿

This afternoon we had the wonderful cellist Ian Sharpley with us, treating everyone to a beautiful set of music – it was absolutely lovely and so relaxing to listen to! 🎶🎻

We also made the most of the sunshine, enjoying some time outdoors with our residents – smiles all around! ☀️🌸

And there's plenty more to look forward to... tomorrow we’ve got the hairdresser visiting and a Darcey Day too – cuddles guaranteed! 🐾💇‍♀️
