We love seeing people come back through the door after some time away.

What our free pass actually shows you

I know a lot of people don’t fully believe what we say.

And honestly… I get it.

Most people’s previous experiences haven’t been good.

They’ve left fitness classes broken.
In pain.
Unable to walk properly for days.
Surrounded by really fit people.

And by the time they recovered two weeks later…
they never went back.

So when we say
“It’s friendly”
“It’s supportive”
“It’s not like that”

Of course you’re sceptical.

That’s why the free pass exists.

When you come down, you’ll more than likely see people you’ve already seen on our posts.

Real people.
Not models.
Not gym robots.

And you can speak to them.
Ask them.

Because they get it.

Once, they were you walking in for the first time.

Nervous.
Not looking forward to it.
Struggling to sleep the night before.
Worried about walking into a room full of strangers.

I’ve heard people say:

“I wasn’t looking forward to it at all.”
“I nearly didn’t come.”
“I hated gyms before this.”

Connor told them it would feel uncomfortable walking in…
and then it would go away.

And annoyingly, he was right.

The reason people travel over 40 minutes to train here
isn’t because it’s extreme.

It’s not because it’s punishment.
It’s because they enjoy it.
They enjoy the sessions.
They enjoy the people.
They enjoy the laughs and the banter.

And they finally feel like they belong somewhere.

No judgement.
No shouting.
No pressure to be anything you’re not.

The free pass isn’t about convincing you.

Sometimes it’s just about ruling us out

so you stop wasting headspace wondering

“Would this have been different?”

If it’s for you, great.
If it’s not, that’s ok too.

But at least you’ll know.

What people actually get from a free pass session.

Most people walk in feeling worried.

Apprehensive.
Already thinking.

“How can I get out of this?”

They’re expecting shouting.
Punishment.
Someone telling them they’re not good enough.
A room full of really fit people grunting and going hard.

That’s not what happens.

What surprises people most
is they actually enjoy it.

They smile.
They laugh.
They realise they’re not the only one feeling like this.
They see people in the room just like them.

And for a lot of people, the biggest moment is this…

They can actually see themselves getting up at this time again.

They leave thinking
“Hang on… I belong here.”

Here’s the truth about my expectations of you.

I don’t expect you to be fit.
I don’t expect you to be confident.
I don’t expect you to push yourself to the limit.

My only expectation

is that you get through the door.

Nothing more.

And the free pass isn’t about selling you something.

Sometimes it’s about ruling us out.

So you stop wasting headspace wondering

“Is this for me?”
If it is, great.
If it isn’t, that’s ok too.

But at least you’ll know.

So if you’ve been watching, overthinking, and putting it off…

A free pass might be the simplest next step.

No pressure.
No commitment.

Just come and see how it feels.

I might be calling you out here, but if you’ve been watching us for a while, I bet you’ve said this before...

"I’ll start at the end of the financial year."
"I’ll start when the nights get lighter."
"I’ll start after Easter… once this unexpected bill is sorted… once work calms down…"

And guess what? I hear this ALL the time. We do this without even thinking. We tell ourselves now isn’t the right time because [insert excuse here].

But let’s flip that. What if we focused on what happens when we do start?

✅ More energy.
✅ More confidence.
✅ Your family and friends noticing the difference.

We see it all the time—someone starts, and suddenly, their partner or family says, “They’re so much happier now!”

So if you’ve read this far, maybe it’s time to stop waiting.

Maybe this is your sign to finally follow through on that promise you made to yourself in January.

The best time to start?
